Curriculum initially provides all the theoretical and practical knowledge side by side. As in first year classes are held in University college of medical science so practical we got demonstration of human anatomy on cadavers . And the subsequent 2nd, 3rd and 4th year classes are held in Amar Jyoti as the syllabus of these years provide you proper insights of your field Side by side in 3rd and 4th year we do clinical postings in different hospitals and in Amar Jyoti where we see real world applications i.e. hands on patients under the guidance of senior physiotherapist who are our professors also. First year is quite tough compare with other years as overall syllabus is just same as of MBBS . Areas of improvement - should be in syllabus I think as in first year we were somewhat clueless about our real role in PT as there were no PT specific subjects .

College provides internship in various hospitals but for internship we need to pay 35,000 to college , no stipend. It's a 6 month internship unless you do some voluntarily work in any hospital. I paid fees of about 1,10000in my first year and subsequent years I paid 95000 and it is increasing for subsequent further coming batches. Development fees, university examination fees and for cultural events are the other charges that need to be given. Amount of rupees 12,000 under Dr. Piyush Trivedi Memorial Scholarship.

Only events that happen here are the RIPPLES- the cultural and sports events a 5 day event in which houses are divided among all years. Other is Freshers party and convocation. Only these 3 events occur throughout the year. In library all curriculum related content is easily accessible. In classroom we have no ACs, very small , only 5 rooms are there. We have one common room where we play table tennis . No other social groups or clubs or activities are there no social life.

Actually I applied to this college via DUET exam. As there are only two colleges under delhi university for PT- IPH & AJIPT. So on the basis of counselling and my overall score in this exam I got this college (AJIPT) but after that year college conduct its exam individually instead of DUET .

Good faculty to student relationship, they are easily approachable and help and guide like friends and on the basis of their experience. There are 2 internal exams in a year and 1 final university examination. Internal exams are quite tough as compared to university examination especially the practical examination.

As I already mentioned we have no big campus , no hostel so no night life things . Canteen is there. But there are pgs nearby where some outsiders students reside . Locality is good there are lots of cafes , gym, salons nearby .
