School of technology, NEHU follow new education policy 2020 which is implemented by central government. AICTE approved course and syllabus is included. Syllabus of respective department are very much relevant with course. teaching methods could me improvised by including modern AI tools and with good industry exposure. Course curriculam should include more practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Difficulty level of exams could be increased to make students more creative, gain more knowldege rather than just rote learning.

NEHU has seen placements in varios companies including intellipaat,GLA university, Dalima cement bharat ltd, and santacruz telemarketing services private limited. roles offered have included positions with salaries ranging from 7.25 LPA to 10.8 LPA. I am not aware of many projects but one of the notable one is GDG ( google developers group ) from google.

from third year or 5th semester you are eligible to apply for internship and placements, most of startups visit every year to offer a minimum salary of 4LPA. highest package offered last year was 24 LPA. i have no plans for now, i am just here to explore life

All 4 department of Btech have same fee structure regardless of category, Detail fee structure per semester is below : Course fee : 18,000 tution fee : 840 caution fee [one time]: 1080 Registration fee[one time] : 200 Admission fee[one time] : 180 Development fee[one time] : 7,200 Laboratory fee : 360 other fee[library+sport+medical+examination+practical+bus fare+smart id card] : 20,600 No scholarship assistance is provided by the institute, but you can apply for the central scholarship.

The annual fest VARSITY held every year in the month of march end and starting April. Freshers party are also held every year in the month of august end just after the admission of freshers. We have central library which contain 2.5 lakh + books and seperate section for newspapers and journals. All books are easily accessible for the students. Some classrooms are well equipped with modern technology, including projector and all. On regular basis lots of extracurricular activities takes place such as quiz, debate...etc. Sports activities are held every year intracollege as well as intercollege. lots of student run social clubs and groups are available

I am residing in UG boys hostel which is triple sharing room, capacity of each hostel is around 100 sttudents, others hostels are not connected buildings. each room is equipped with 2 wardobe for each person along with that one bed,chair,table is also available. meal quality is decent, dont expect much in 2500 per month of mess fee. Registration for hostels are done along with admission, hostels are very affordable with rent of 300 per month.

I choose this college over other colleges for the following reason : 1. Vast and green campus, i love nature and greenery and this campus is very huge covering 1250 acre of land with vast area covered in forest 2. A very good interactive campus with good boy to girl ratio. Lots of other departments to gain insight from students of different domain and field. 3. I wanted to explore northeast and meghalay is called as scotland of east. 4. Very afforable for me as compare to other colleges. Admission to this institute is done in two ways, first one is by NEHU counselling and second is by JOSSa/CSAB counselling. Eligibility to apply you must be 12th passed you must appeared for JEE mains eaxm and you must have a valid JEE score cutoff for this college vary every year but safe score of JEE is around 80 percentile.

I am not sure about faculty to student ratio but relationship between student and faculties are very interactive, any student can easily approach the faculties. till now i liked few faculties and there names goes by R.Subadar sir, Rumi mam, Subash arya sir, SKM sir, Fida mam few faculties whom i dont like is beacuse of their teaching style is very strict. there are 2 exam per semester , mid sem and end sem. Level of exam is not so hard, you can score average just by reading one day before exam. very few students get semester back rest all pass with no much hardwork. Course curriculam is relevant to respective department.

No there is no group discussion, no interview questions or test, you just have to appear on the given day after counselling. on the day of physical verification you have to show the required documents asked by institute.

Gym is available in campus, entry time for gym is from 6 am to 9 am in morning and 4 pm to 9 pm in evening. Library starts at 8 am in morning and close at 8 pm in evening. on saturday it is closed at 5 pm. sunday is holiday. Hostel gates closes at 10 pm in evening and Campus is open 24 hour. famous hangout inside the college is MyCafe and Mithaas, outside the campus lots of hangout places are available such as police bazaar and all. From what i have heard from seniors, its not that safe to roam around at night.
