Remarks
Hostel facility is lacking which is the only problem of this university. Other than that, there isn't any negative side of this university. It's developing and yet provding best quality education within affordable fees and also striving towards the academic development of every child.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course mainly focuses on running of computer based information systems and everything related to it support,devise, development and execution. Computer has always been my favourite since grade 8. And therefore, I chose this course. The duration is for four years. I totally love it.
Placement Experience
On the basis of the quality of academics and excellent placements, WCU offers a wide range of exciting and highly career oriented disciplines. Students need to be the best in academics to get placements.
College Events
Different types of events are held in the university like - SHOAH Holocaust exhibit, career fair, MAPE/PREPS partnership conference. Athletic calendar includes Basketball tournament for men as well as women, sports etc.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure for the first year is 1lakh and six thousand, whereas for the next two years ,it is Rs.102,000/- . The third year fee is Rs.111,000/-. The total fee structure at the end of four years is amounting to Rs.421,000. So, I found this expensive but the course is highly qualified, so therefore the fees is okay.
Fees and Financial Aid
Numerous scholarships have been endowed by generous supporters of WCU. The scholarships available are - The Alumni Scholarship, THE Ambrose Memorial Art Scholarship, The virginia angelico and Joseph Franklin Tatum Scholarship, The Asbury Endowed Com Scholarship and many more. These scholarships have respective eligibility criteria.
Campus Life
WCU offers around 60 extracurricular activities which includes both social and service clubs, honor societies and intramural sports. Campus organizations includes - The Student Government Association, The Gamma Chi and Pi Omega sororities, The Baptist Student Union, and many others. There is a special student activity office located in the student centre.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is lacking in this university as it is in a developing phase. The students who are coming from far away, needs to stay in PGs nearby. This is problematic but the university is working towards it goal.
Alumni/Alumna
Individuals who have completed atleast 24 hours of course work in WCU, also have been awarded an honorary degree or have been elected to honorary membership by an affirmative vote; can be a member of the alumni. Seniors students of this university are very enthusiastic and friendly and they maintain a constant interaction with their juniors.
Admission
Admission depends purely on the merit list. Applicants need to download the application form from the college's own website and a fee of Rs.500/- is required. The admission criteria regarding eligibility, admission procedure are subjected to alteration at any time and the decision of the Vice Chancellor will be final.
Faculty
Dignified faculty members teach in this university and they are very dedicated towards their job of teaching the fellow students. Every teacher in this university is qualified and skilled in their field and works hard for the overall development of every child in the university. They engage in research and uses various methods if teaching so as to make the courses seem interesting.
