Course Curriculum Overview

3

I did not know about the curriculum before joining this college, I just wanted to computer science as it was kinda interesting to me but then I entered this college and I found out that there was no coding classes in our 1st semester which was pretty awkward to me as one of my other friends going to other college has coding classes from the 1st semester,so yeah I do think the curriculum is bit outdated and should be updated but it has it's benefits too like we had workshop classes in which we were taught Welding and stuff("if we were not able to find a job after college,we can atleast do welding and stuff" were the lines said to us by workshop teacher) it was a pretty interesting class and kinda did have a practical usage i guess. Teaching methods of our faculties is pretty basic but good for me atleast so I wouldn't change a thing about that, only thing I am concerned about is that curriculum is outdated and should be updated, the frequency and timings of our exam is okay, I mean you do have enough time to prepare for each exam if you are not slaking off and their difficulty level is also medium, i mean if you have studied.

Placement Experience

3

Placements of our college is good ig like before taking admission in this college I found about that avg package offered was 12 lakhs per annum which was good, students in our college gets eligible from 7th semester for placement and there is also pretty good placement cell in our college. Companies like wipro, google, dilot etc have came to our college and form what I remembered there were 3 offers made from Google in the last year of our college and also a good no. Of offers from Wipro last year, highest package last year was 50 lakhs(which was only offered to one student). Most students get their placement last placement rate was 90 percent of the students who were eligible(means students not having any backs and having minimum cgpa requirement of the companies which was 8 or 8.5) which pretty good if you are eligible there is high chance of getting a job. My plans after getting the degree is to get a job from placement drive or from outside the campus, i have no plans of doing any type of masters as of now.

Campus Life

4

There are many annual and technical festivals held in our college ig as I am first year student myself. I don't have a clear idea which events were exclusive this and which events are annual, there is a sports event known as CAVORTS which is held annually, techvibes(as the name suggests a technical event) and cultural event whose name I forgot and also during navratri there was garba night which was pretty good. Our library is pretty small and does not have much range of books is what I have heard and seen so yeah library is not that Good. each classroom have a projector , blackboard and also Ac installed in each classroom and for sitting we have study chairs (which are pretty uncomfortable according to me). There is very less opportunities for sports and extracurricular activities in this college as I have told before we don't have much space in our college so we have only one volleyball net and pretty small ground and also only one sports even happens annually which only for students of the college so we don't get the opportunity to play other colleges (at least from what I am aware of). There are many clubs in our college run by students like NSS,tech committee, cultural committee etc, it is not necessary to be part of any commitee but it is heavily implied that you should be part of a commitee.

Admission

I did apply to different colleges like Jaypee college,UPES, Symbiosis etc and I did get selected to Jaypee but not in Jaypee noida so I skipped that,I also get selected in UPES but after some discussions with my friends and seniors of that college I did not take admission in that and I also got selected in symbiosis but for the same reasons as UPES did not take admission into that college, I gave many entrance exams like JEE, MHCET,COMEDK,BITSAT, VIT but in MHCET,COMEDK,BITSAT and VIT examinations I did not score that much marks which were good enough for any good college although in JEE mains i did not score a lot of number but it was kinda okay (89 percentile,as I am ews, I was also able to give JEE advance but we don't talk about that ????.) then I found out about this college through a relative who lived in jaipur and found out that this college takes admission based on JEE result and also many people don't know about this, so I thought I had a chance and also found out this college was a off-campus of bit mesra (ranchi) which was very good semi- government college and also found out that we would get graduation certificate form main campus itself,so I tried to get into this college by going to there website and registered and soon list came and I was selected, there were 4 rounds and I found out that people got selected for BTECH computer science till 60 percentile general (from JEE MAINS of course) and overall admission experience was good.

Faculty

4

Faculty to student relationship depends on faculty to faculty but most of my faculty is pretty good(I am a 1st 2nd semester student so I have not met all the faculties).best faculty i found yet was Dheeraj Bhardwaj,he is our physics faculty his teaching method is pretty awesome and also his nature is pretty good due to which I ask him any questions related to college and also to physics. I don't particularly hate any faculty yet. Now in each semester there are 4 exams: 1st quiz, mid-sem papers, 2nd quiz/assignments depends on the faculties, final-sem papers. In 1st sem most of the students passed,i would say almost everyone of them as it's the first faculties go easy on the students but still they would not pass if you have not written anything on the paper. The course curriculum taught at our college according to me is pretty outdated as our coding classes starts from 2nd semester and we have subjects like biology etc which I don't think is relevant to our course and our faculty to students ratio is also pretty good.

Night Life

1

As there is no hostel in our college I have no idea of late-night activities in our college as I live in pg far from my college.there is a gym in our gym which is pretty small but it is only open during college hours which is till 6 pm at max. The locality around college is a industrial area so it pretty much safe but there are industries around so nothing interesting overall but if we go a little bit further we have World trade park(which is very big mall in jaipur) and also that area is pretty good.
