Course Curriculum Overview
From my teenage I have a dream to admit this college and study microbiology cause this is one of the best government institute where we can study microbiology. The curriculum that host by our college prepares us for real world applications by doing many practical works and projects. The meterials we need for practical work is not supplied properly and many time we have to stop work for that problem.
Fees and Financial Aid
We have paid 11800 as our 1st sem admission fees and 11000 as our 2nd sem admission fees. Our college currently doesn't provide any type of scholarship . But we get a scholarship names SVMCM from the west bengal government. It easily covers our 1 year college fees along with few months of personal expenses.
Campus Life
There is a annual function held in our college in the month of march and this is the only festival that held in our college. There is a very big library in our college and the accessibility of books is very good. The facilities and technical provisions within the classrooms is quite good. An annual sports held in our college at the moment of October or November. There are no any student run social group, clubs.
Admission
I applied at pravat kumar college at contai,purba Medinipur and get confirmed admission but the infrastructure of that institute is not so good but our college have a quiet impressive faculties and infrastructure. I was not rejected by any college I applied. The admission based on the 12th percentage.In every year the cut off changes for admission.the semester exams are quite difficult and if we not studied properly we may be fail in that paper.
Faculty
The faculty -to-student ratio is 7:42.the faculty to student relationship is very good.They always helps us and encourage to do new things. The name of the faculties I like tye most are poulami palit,sounik manna and Dr. Kamala dey.I like them because the are very friendly and the method of their teaching is very impressive.And The best one is poulami palit mam. There is no amy faculties whome i dislike.they are all good. There are 2 enternal assessment and a finla exam for each semester.They are quite difficult.
Night Life
The gym cafeteria and library closed at 5pm every day. The hostel gate is open for 24hrs but you have to take permission from bordan for go out . The most famous place for hangout is our college ground which is outside the college.The locality is vey safe for students.
