- Attendance is not an issue at least in my centre.
- Professors are very good and cooperative they are very sweet as far as I know
- JNU has so much variety different academic and cultural program takes place here.
Dislikes
- In bachelors it only have foreign languages
- Convocation doesn't happen in bachelors and masters.
- In the gate there is very less security compared to IIT it's worse
Course Curriculum Overview
Affordability, low fees and also that it provided hostels and JNU is a known university provides you the best faculty and different programs takes place here which benefits you in overall development. They can improve a little on security add more courses in bachelors and arrange a convocation in bachelors. Exams aren't too difficult you can ace them easily if you study well.
Fees and Financial Aid
Our fees is 265 rs for 1 year it's same for all categories..MCM is provided to poora students which is monthly around 2k rs and there was no registration we paid as such while getting admission but after every sem you have to pay 1110 rs in hostel which are registration/ establishment charge.
Campus Life
Annually we have Virasat which is a cultural event promotes India's rich culture and UP diwas, Bihar diwas, jhankar which shows UP , bihar and rajsthan culture respectively and also every week we have some or the other programs on academic discussion and talks.
Admission
I got admission in JNU, BHU and BBAU , AKTU and AU in BA , B.com , B.Tech , B.sc respectively but I chose JNU because of the low fees and hostel availability and the faculty and the campus life program and many more things in short I'm loving JNU.
Faculty
1:5 is the faculty to students ratio which is pretty good.and professors are soo good they focus on every student if one student isn't getting it correct they will repeat it multiple times. mohar mam I like her so much she's so sweet teaches soo well and makes class very interactive in between she'll also give a break after 1 hr of class and also make us laugh in between through her talks,all professors are soo doooo good I lik all of them. In a semester we have two sessional out of them the best is taken and end sem so total 3 exams in 6 months.
Night Life
We have gym in every hostel they is average condition not too bad not so good we have dhabas with a name of every hostel they are pretty affordable and offer good food such as ganga dhaba and sabarmati dhaba and 24 × 7 and canteen in every building where classes are help such as SIS canteen , SL 1 canteen. There's no curfew timing neither in hostel nor in campus . There are many Hangout places such as mamu dhaba and ganga dhaba night life is awesome in JNU.
