Good University

There are several important aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to choose the path of finance and accounting such as money making, investing and saving. These are the main pillar besides the teaching method of the professors such as giving real life relatable examples to make the topics more relevant and intereating. However, the teaching equipments are outdated as using conventional balckboard and chalks while not using smartclass method.

The university takes fees in semester wise and we had six semester and paid 6 admission fees with examination fees. Usually the fees structure includes admission fees of ?2500 + I card fees and lab caution fees of ?300 and miscellaneous fees of ?50.

As I said before the infrastructure of my college is old but the campus life was beautiful as there was plenty of opportunity for socialising through social gathering in the university. There was a wide range of books and study materials available in the library.

The admission process in universities in West Bengal has a very negative aspect that is immense corruption. I applied alsmost in 5 universities before moving RBC college but couldn't make place due to issue of union as they charge money 4-5 times the actual admisson fees but luckily in my college no corruption.

The ratio of the faculty to student is 1:8 that means there is one professor for every eight students that provided us to the opportunity for gaining personal mentorship. The pattern of the exams are like one unit test and semester exams for each semester for three years and before that an examination fees of ?600-800 had taken.

No actually there was no group discussion or any interview questions for the admisson but there was a small admission test based on which the board of the university decide the capability of the students.

Our college is situated very near to lounge of river Ganges that made it a very nice place to hangout with friends at night with including several food joints. However the locality is quite unsafe at midnight to hangout as political disputes happen very often at nights among members of different political parties.
