This curriculum of Instrumentation and Control engineering is very vast and including more than 4-5 branches syallabus such as Computer engineering, Mechanical engineering , Electronics and communication engineering, Electrical engineering etc

This Government College of engineering and research avasari khurd is near to my home town . Addmission process very easy. For Eligibility Students must give test of MHTCET and pass with minimum 60-70 percentile

Faculty

There are 10 faculty for min 60 students.All are very technically and practically sound and experienced. All are Phd holders.Very helpful to academic as well as other issues.Every Saturday there is mentor session is happened for solving students problem

Night Life

Cafeteria is good in which all required food fruits are present.Hostels are separate for boys and girls. For boys 10 pm is last entry time and for girls 7 pm is last entry time. Boys hostel has its own gym and gaming room

REAL INSIGHTS OF RIZVI COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING

Course Curriculum Overview:

As this college is under mumbai university so this college cannot modify syallbus in their own the have to strictly follow the university prescribe syallbus,academic timelines,rules and norms of the mumbai university. I have taken the admission in this college in the year 2024 from this year the NEP-2020 was adopted by the every indian universities and instituites. Since NEP-2020 was adopted also by mumbai university some new subjects are added to the syallabus that are oriented to financial literacy,Entreprenuianl,indian laws related subjects the syallubus of this subject is very good to see in the syallabus pdf. But the ground reality is different this subject is not given much importance by faculties the are treated as not much important subject as their are not related to our course as a result the students also take these subjects lightly.Also the professors appointed for this subjects are not much good they appoint the faculties who are recent graduates of their college who are working now as a professor in the same college. The college treat this subject lectures as an practice for the fresh faculties to gain experience of how to teach students. The core subject syallbus is same not changed the mumbai university has just changed the name of the subject. The college professors just teach the subject but they do not teach in that way that it makes us ready for real world problems.And also in the first year all the subjects are common for all the branches of the engineering which consist of subject like physics,chemistry,mechanics,Basic electrical Electronics,Engineering Graphics. It is my opinion why should an student who is studying an course called Computer Engineering so why should i read the subjects of the other branches like civil,mechanical,electrical and electronics in my first year instead of my domain subjects for whole two semester and the timespan of almost an year

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are good . They are incerasing year by year . As now college is made autonomous placement is also good in the college. Companies like TCS , CAPEGEMINI, like such big companies are also coming to college . as such college have developed the placement ratio . the higest package offered in the college was last year it was 18 lakhs . average pacakages offered in the college is betweeen 3 to 7 lakhs . but the students are geeting placed from college. Near about 70 to 80 percentage of the students are getting placed every year.

from 6th semester students get eligible for placemnets and from 4th semester students get eligible for internships. Dell, Oracle Tcs and many more such companies have visited the college The highest package is 50 lpa for MCA in computer science while the highest for B.TECH CSE is 44.14 lpa. Many good companies such as J.P. Morgan and Goldmann sachs have also come here for placements. The average package is 6lpa. Approximately from Computer science across 70 to 80 percent students are getting placed every year. After my B.tech Degree I would be pursuing my Masters degree from abroad.

Good but can be better

I was alloted to VPKBIET college at Baramati, which is considered one of the best colleges for engineering, but the issue for me was fees. The reason I opted for this government College was fees. I got alloted in spot round and the admission process was pretty much good but can be better. The authorities used to send the students to private cafes to fill up the college forms which were filled by other colleges in their own campus.
