Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum was mostly the same like in other colleges who have economics as their degree program. The curriculum is crafted well yet needed some changes to the up to date syllabus. Need more use of digital methods in teaching and curriculum wise as well.

Placement Experience

4

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee for a year is 7k and it includes exam fee, course fee, lab fee and cultural fee. We have two programs in our college, self financing and aided. I studied in aided which costed 7k per year for all the students of my class. There are many scholarships available mainly, national scholarship program and community scholarships.

Campus Life

5

Best , when it comes to campus life. The numerous clubs available and the extra curricular focus is high. Students have won many inter collegiate fests. All the clubs and fests are handled by students and it improves their leadership skills.

Admission

The main reason i chose this college is due to its campus life and sincey course is aided , the fee was very less and the exposure if clubs in the college and the cultural fests made me join this college over others

Faculty

4

The faculties were good and knowledgeable. We had 10 staff for a department of 250 students. I.e 1:25 ratio. My favourite teacher was my class tutor and every other prof at my department. The exam are always in a easy to medium level. Mostly everyone wpuld clear except for a very few people.

Night Life

3

Night life is allowed only for hostel students and in some cases of cultural fests the organisers would be ther to take care of the arrangements. There is a curfew for gils and boys inside the campus. Cafeteria is good and decent

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 5th sem. Companies: TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit yearly, ?60% placed. Highest ?6 LPA, avg ?3.5 LPA for developer/support roles. With placement, college builds employability via internships & skills. My plan: pursue MBA + campus placement after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interdisciplinary approach of the curriculum was one of the main factors that influenced my decision to choose this course. It combines both theoretical and practical learning, which aligns well with my career aspirations. The inclusion of industry-relevant subjects and hands-on experience through projects, internships, and case studies made the course stand out. This aspect assured me that the program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world challenges. The focus on skill development such as communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving was another important factor. These are not just academic skills, but life skills that are essential in any career.
