Course Curriculum Overview

5

9/10 for relevance. Chose it for practical labs, industry projects & coding focus. Prepares well for jobs & higher studies. Improve: more workshops, case studies. Exams: 2 internals + 1 sem/term, timely, moderate difficulty with clear syllabus coverage.

Internships Opportunities

5

Strong internship support from 4th sem. Companies: TCS, Zoho, CTS offer dev, data analyst, testing roles. Stipend ?5K-15K/month. Projects: web apps, automation tools, ML models. Outcome: real client work, certificates & PPOs. College placement cell helps with training & interviews.

Placement Experience

5

Placements start from 5th sem. Companies: TCS, Infosys, Wipro visit yearly, ?60% placed. Highest ?6 LPA, avg ?3.5 LPA for developer/support roles. With placement, college builds employability via internships & skills. My plan: pursue MBA + campus placement after degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

Our college follows a student-friendly fee structure with annual tuition fixed at *?30,000 per year* for all UG programs including Arts, Science, Commerce, and Computer Applications. The fee is paid in two installments — ?15,000 during admission in June/July and ?15,000 before the second semester in December. In the first year only, students also pay a refundable caution deposit of ?2,000, library deposit of ?1,000, and admission fee of ?500, making the total first-year payment around ?33,500. From the second year onward, the fee remains ?30,000 plus small annual charges for gymkhana, student welfare, and exams, totaling about ?32,000 per year. From 2026-27, the management has approved a 5% annual increment to cover infrastructure and faculty development, so fees will increase slightly each year. To support students financially, the college offers multiple scholarships. SC/ST/BC/MBC/Minority students with family income below ?2.5 lakh get 100% tuition reimbursement through the Govt Post-Matric Scholarship via DBT from 2026-27. EBC students with income below ?1 lakh receive 50-100% fee waiver under the Merit-cum-Means scheme. Girl students can apply for AICTE Pragati/Saksham scholarships worth ?50,000 per year. Top 12th scorers get 50-100% merit scholarships, and defense personnel children get 25-50% concession. Additionally, the Earn While You Learn program provides ?3,000/month stipend, and the Principal’s Discretionary Fund offers emergency fee waivers. With these scholarships, many students complete their entire 3-year course with net fees between ?0 to ?15,000, making quality education affordable for all.

Chose it for ?30K fees + 100% govt scholarships, 1:25 faculty ratio vs others. Applied to PSG, Govt Arts; got admission here due to affordable fee & quick process. Admission: 12th marks, no entrance for UG, cutoff 60%, simple online + counseling, smooth experience.

Faculty

5

1:25 ratio, faculty very approachable & supportive. Best: Many staffs for clear teaching and practical insights. No faculty disliked. 2 internals + 1 sem exam per subject, moderate difficulty, <5% fail. Curriculum is industry-relevant & updated.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interdisciplinary approach of the curriculum was one of the main factors that influenced my decision to choose this course. It combines both theoretical and practical learning, which aligns well with my career aspirations. The inclusion of industry-relevant subjects and hands-on experience through projects, internships, and case studies made the course stand out. This aspect assured me that the program is designed to bridge the gap between academic learning and real-world challenges. The focus on skill development such as communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving was another important factor. These are not just academic skills, but life skills that are essential in any career.
