Likes

I like the college environment.. it's very beautiful here with a nice view . We have a big ground and we can use that
College infrastructure is also very good. Specially another science block is constructed for the department of law.. it's kinda good
I like the hostel environment here.. we can play as long as we want and new hostles are constructed now

Dislikes

Mess food.. I don't like the mess food here... They're not following any food safety measures
I don't like the faculty here coz they won't attend the classes regularly to guide us
We have to prepare our own notes coz no one will help us regarding any thing

Actually my course in degree is bsc Hons community science and in tht I have choosen human development and family studies as my elective and I did my internship at niepid secunderabad.. after my internship I got intrest in the field of clinical psychology..the curriculum is very good we can learn many different things in this field

As I'm from the branch of clinical psychology we are going to do our internship at NIMHANS banglore.. and we can also do intership at different places which we opt to do..so of my friends are going to Chennai. And some are doing at chittore

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm pursuing my master's in clinical psychology at sri Padmavati mahila viswavidhyalayam tirupati Coming to the fee structure as government of Andhra Pradesh is giving scholarship for sc st students in 2 quarters.. I'm paying fees 34,950 per year.. and I had got selected into this university based on appgcet marks.. there is no Merit scholarships for anyone.. for management quota you have to pay the double fees like 50000 per year

Campus Life

The infrastructure of the college is very good.. and we have a beautiful Park and ground with nice view.. we will also have sports meets and events in the college and the facilities and equipments are also provided..

Hostel Facilities

Thr hostel facility is very good here .. the cots will be provided to us.. the environment is also very good and the wardens are a little bit strict.. everyone is friendly here.. but all the problems are with mess food..

Admission

Actually I had applied only for Appgcet... I didn't applied for cuet or other exams due to some reasons.. as in pgcet in Andhra Pradesh this is the only college that have master's in clinical psychology so I have choosen this college..

Faculty

As it's semester system we have 2 sems per year and in between the sem we have mid exams.. and after completion of sem we have lab exam.. I like everyone here.. but the main problem is they don't teach the classes regularly

Night Life

There are 2 canteens in the college.. and outside the college we have so many restaurants and shopping malls.. we cannot roam around the college after 6 in the evening .. the warden will not permit us the go outside the hostel gate after 7 o'clock

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose MBA, the MBA curriculum used to cover major factors like finance, hr, Information Technology, and marketing. For real-time applications and problem-solving, the JNTU curriculum was the best as it deals with practical issues and concerns. How ever few subjects like Business statistics for managers, and computer applications have such concepts which are very old and inappropriate for current job market conditions, I think in this area they need improvements. Before joining the college, they said it is 6 months duration from each semester, but in the second year, exams were conducted with only 4 months duration, where I felt some of the concepts were difficult to cover.

Good and great

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements from 6th semester after CRT training. Companies visited: TCS 120 offers, Wipro 85 offers, Accenture 60 offers, Infosys 50 offers, Capgemini 40 offers, Tech Mahindra 30 offers, some startups 2 to 5 offers each. Highest package is 7.5 LPA by EPAM Systems for developer role. Average package is 3.8 to 4.2 LPA for associate engineer and analyst roles. About 65 to 70 percent of CSE students get placed through campus. Others go for off campus, higher studies, or GATE. My plan after degree is to join a service based company and upskill in cloud to switch later.

The Insides of KLU

Placement Experience:

Our College provides 100% placements. From 4th Semester, we have received training in interview preparation and written test techniques. By 5th Semester, we became eligible for campus placements, attracting a range of companies, including Bank of America, Accenture, Intellipat, and State Street. No company has departed without making offers, and several students have successfully secured positions, at least one student is placed in each of the companies mentioned above. The highest package being 5LPA at State Street and an average package of 3LPA. Out of our batch ,196 members opted for placements, while 35 remained to be placed. I have been fortunate to secure a position at Accenture, along with 28 other peers and I plan to join the company upon graduation.
