B.com ,i choose b.com because i want to bacame a business man and this will course help me a lot that's why i chose this course In real word this course is very useful for everything Improvement needed in course is needed practical method because students wants practical knowledge not only theory Exam timing is 3hrs but this is good

Class Size: 800Course Fees: INR 72000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees paid by yearly 72000 it means monthly 6000 and registration 1500 exclude and exam centre fees 1500 extra tution fees is 1000 and I'm a management student doing b.com Category ( general) Batchmate also paying the same amount. Scholarship depend upon students performance

Campus Life

In my college in yearly on quarterly union members or college teachers organise festival and fresher cultural fest and many more sports and many more enjoyed together in our college overall all are good .

Admission

I apply to 2 college one is guwahati commerce college second is dispur College this two colleges is good for commerce in guwahati that's why i choose dispur College and gcc i got. Not selected in this college because i this college need more percentage to get admission that's why i go to this college

Faculty

Faculty is good according to students ratio in our college teachers are good Our jania ma'am is good her teaching style is literally awesome Ankita ma'am this ma'am is very rude In my college there are 3 exam per semester our college conduct 2 sessional exam and 1 final exam total 3 sessional are easy but final is quite tough

Night Life

In my college gym is small but cafeteria is big that's why i rate this 10/8 hostel are also good in our college week many singers and celebrities come and join our college to make memorable day this is very good

The college i study in is very good

Placement Experience:

Students from 5th semester onwards are ready for campus placements. The students from our college gets a very good college placement at a very nice company and salary. The percentage of students getting degree are 80% and my plan after my degree are to become "Company Secretary or job at SBI".

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course is very rich and varied for someone from commerce background . There are a lot of subjects for students which students study in various semesters . There's even EVS in the curriculum which is wierd but also great . I feel the curriculum is a lot based on the real life there are topics related to computerised accounting, e businesses , virtual reality , augmented reality , stock markets etc etc . which are ig very necessary for today's world . Since I am just in my 1st semester I don't think I can say a lot about the improvements that can be made but I feel the curriculum can also include a little about AI as it's the burning topic of today's world . If there's a subject like EVS for commerce then I feel even an AI subject will not pose much difficulty or chaos among the students . Exams are very regular . I just had my sessional exams in October and now I am preparing for my finals which are in December

Nothing influenced my decision to choose this course. I just wanted to choose this course for fun, to be honest. the curriculum rarely prepares us for real-world applications or further academic pursuits but whenever it does it would be very beneficial for the students. Held frequent inspections in the college so that they can improve themselves and the teaching method should be in a friendly and more comprehensive way. Gauhati Commerce College : A premier Institution for Conmerce Education with Evolving Opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

I had applied to 5 to 6 colleges and fortunately I had got my name in every college merit I choose this college i.e. dispur college because one of my family member has already taken admission in this college also my friends have been saying that the college got accredited grade 'A' by NAAC and it also listed for CUET as it also comes under the guwahati university.and also our former HoD has been declared as the fellowship of commerce.
