Life at Panjab University

My course was BE so we had more theory then praticals I fell that was only drawback we never felt that but it is there and I have done my diploma in automobile engineering so I took admission in 2nd year through lateral entry exam the teacher helped me to cover up all my studies specially in maths

Talking about internship opportunity within University then our institute have DIC and PUtech dipartment for this they work in field of enovation providing students platform for research and enovation talking about my self I got chance to work on developing a three axis CNC machine under a specific budget and my friend is still working on developing scanner for hospital doctors to scan facture bones to make there implants he closely work with PGI Chandigarh

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

We have to pay every year total amount around which keeps increasing every year and it was one lakh twenty thousand which we have to pay in two installments one is seventy thousand and the second one will be around thirty or forty thousand rupees taken and we have to pay examination fe seprate for every semester which was three thousand

Talking about University fest we have more then 17-20 fest around the year some of them Eantra Goonj and many more mostly fall in March and April every department have its own library and then we have one common library for University which is open 24*7 we have wifi across University campus we have sports facilities and that to each and every type of sports we have different clubs and society in every department and we have 70+ department in University campus

I am a student from Himachal Pradesh and I was searching for a best engineering college and that to under budget I came across Panjab University and came to know that it has mechanical engineering course and fees is also under budget and it's government college near to my home town not to near but still and this college offers better placement opportunities in mechanical engineering

I would rate best for my department factually members they always inspired us for our studies in different ways rather they never forced to do anything they always inspire students to take part in projects and to develop any new idea and develop it and for founds factually members always help

Every hostel has its own gym and public area which closes at 10:30pm but taking about night life no restriction in any way within University premieres we have our own rose garden which have each and every type of rose and different flowers and we have different parks and gardens and have a swimming pool which has some fee's like 350 for one year membership and shooting range we do not have any hostel timings
