Curriculum is same as those of other engineering college. Since i am a firstyear student, i am yet to start my core subjects that will start from 2nd year. Midsems held in the gaps of 1.5 months and end sems at the end of semester. They are not that much difficult, one has to study decently

Since I am in the first year of my college, I don't have much idea about the internships in our college. Although there is design innovation centre which is situated in the campus where students can approach the professors there and can indulge in the projects and further can do internships in the centre as well. One of my seniors got internship in Goldman & sachs which is a very good company.

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

I paid 40000 as seat acceptance fee during JAC Chandigarh counselling which was further adjusted in my college fee. Later on, 81000 rs was paid and that combined fee is my first year fee. Ews category can get some relaxation according to income. No such exemption for sc/st

Extra curricular activities are very much in this college. Societies and clubs are pretty much active. Several events happen in the college around the year. There is annual cultural fest that happens in the month of February called GOONJ and sports fest named UMANG. Apart from this, many seminars of different fields happens time to time.

The hostels are allotted to the students from each branch of according to the G means merit list prepared by the coli itself. The College rent is very minimal. It is around 13,000 per year. The occupancy for each room is two, and they provide two single beds, two single Almira, two tables, balcony, attached, and fans.. one can buy its own room cooler and use it with some additional charges. The meal provided in the hostel is very very good. They are quite decent and and are very cost effective.

One can get admission in UIET, CHD by applying for JAC CHANDIGARH counselling. One has to give JEE mains exam and based on its score, JAC Chandigarh conducts counselling through which admissions process occurs. I applied for YMCA Faridabad and DCRUST Murthal as well. I also applied for JOSAA counselling but due to my low rank in JEE mains, I couldn't get any NIT or IIIT. I was getting YMCA or DCRUST but choose UIET over them, because of its location. It is situated in main Chandigarh and very near to my home. Moreover, it's placements are better than both of them.

Faculty are well educated out there. Most of them have done phd and are doctorate. Some are very helpful and some are strict. But each teacher has in depth in their particular subject. Mid semester exams are held twice in a year each consisting of 30 marks. Best of two score is taken in the final marking. End semester is of 50 marks and 20 marks are internal assessments

There is no such gym in the College, but there is an SAFA cafeteria around the canteen in the college building. She is the building of UIET is situated in the Punjab University campus, One has access to whole campus. There is a library in our college as well as the main library of Punjab University. The student can access both of them. There is also very good hole in Punjab West campus, which is very minimal of cost for the campus. Students posts are very pretty and very neat and clean. My food is very, very good, my favourite hangout places is student Centre which is situated in the Punjab University campus. It is very beautiful structured building. there is no Sachin time out time for Hostels, both for boys and girls, and can access and consume around the campus. Any time and the campus is pretty much safe for both boys and girls.
