Remarks

POSITIVE : Best Faculty One can crave for studies atleast in Whole Delhi University Colleges NEGATIVES :Just focus on studies not acitivities and sports and organising fun events.Fests are vulnerable

Course Curriculum Overview

5

Course Curriculum is extremely good. From theory to practical it covers all the parts. Course covers all the essential elements that A single person require in his future. Moreover it also bridges the gap between Industry and College as it provides practical knowledge too required in industries. So All in All COURSE CURRICULUM IS REALLY NICE

Internships Opportunities

No, they don't provide internships but there is a placement cell which provide jobs to last year students only.Internships needs to be find out by student itself , It can be concern for someone as the don't provide internship.

Placement Experience

4

Yes , there were few companies which were interested like amazon , smart school , bulls etc and many more companies came for recruitment. Placements are definitely above avg. Highest package was a 4 lacs and average was around 3 lacs. 45% got jobs in companies. Placement cell is quite good and being handled by effecient people. Now it is in development mode trying to make ties with other companies too.

College Events

3

1. College Fest are organised Which are quite boring , no funky things are done just buffet is available there and moreover some poem recitations that we had in our school time 2. No sport activities take place as there is no ground in our college. 3. Department fest also takes place which are quite enjoyable in month of February -----some quizzes , adventure games, music challenges , Debates etc 4. They do sometimes take students for outing in summer like manali , ooty , goa etc 5. They organise some seminars on the tools based on our course which we can require in our future like R programming , Python Programming , Excel, SQL , Ethickal hacking etc ALL IN ALL THIS COLLEGE IS FOR STUDY DRIVEN PEOPLE

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee is very Reasonable , they don't charge much like my course had fees just 10,000 for year , so its pretty reasonable. On the other hand if you are Computer Science / MicroBiology student then fees would go up to 50,000 for year , which is not high too either comparing to other universities

Fees and Financial Aid

They provide some Student Aid For the students are really poor and for the outsiders they provide 50% ticket concession Moreover they make bus passes for students at very reasonable rates Forms need to filled out for bus pass

Campus Life

3.5

There are some activities like music , art dance , debate competitions , quiz competitions all these extra curricular activities takes place. For each of them they have different auditoriums and departments. Labs for computer are there and geology. Sports only Volleyboll and football is played here only. Ground is not good and safe for playing.

Hostel Facilities

2

College has not hostel so they don't provide facilities for hostel , if you from outside Delhi then you need to find a house to live in. Rent costs are very high for PG's near the college , so be prepared

Alumni/Alumna

YES !! Indeed all are really helpful. It's Just like they are dying to help their juniors and there is nothing like senior and junior all are equal with mutual respect for each other.Anytime one can ask their senior any problem related to any matter

Exam Structure

It is purely based on CBCS 1. Some assignments are given and Sometimes tests are taken which are marked for final assessment ---- weightage being -----5 marks 2. Practicals(Practical Files also) and Viva is taken -----Weightage ----- 15 marks & 5 marks respectively. 3. 25 marks ---Internal Assessment { 1 & 2 point } 75 marks Theory Exam which is held after semester End ------------------ 100 Marks

Admission

In month of june cut off list is announced as usually done Delhi University college then When my cut off met with the college cut off, I went for admission their. Just after entering college their was a seminar room where the teachers were taking application of students. They ask for your 10th and 12th marksheet migration certificate and verify them. And then they give you a form to fill out your particulars and an undertaking of anti ragging. After filling it out you need to submit the fees of college. And you are admitted in college

Faculty

5

Faculty of College is one of the Highlights of the college. This college is study centric , they give more importance to Studies. Teachers are highly knowledgeable , Quality of teaching is excellent. They are very friendly , gives extra time to clear doubts and are always doing research and finding new methods to teach a particular subject , such that students are market ready.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

The course is not only about stitching and cooking but a lot more than that . It teaches us the most practical and basic part of our life . Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
