Course Curriculum Overview

4

I choose this course because I love to do coding and it's easy for me to learn programming language and basically it's my interest so I chose that course .. And this course Also provide good job opportunities which is very good for my future and my family members also suggest me to do this ... And In out college there are basically 2 exams are considered in a single sem which is mid term and end term examination, I mid term exam time is 1 hr and for end sem the timing is 3 hr and questions are also more than mid term .. And for improvement in this you have to study alone with various unpaid and paid courses that are easily available on internet and for better placement you have also preparing for interviews by your self because College can't teach all this you have to study alone and be you best self ..

Internships Opportunities

4

Firstly I enrolled in 2023 am I am in 3rd sem so till now I don't get any opportunity of internship.. but I have heard about internship through my seniors they are telling Amity give us good opportunity of internship program and they also give us options and The program was held in 5-6 months and at the free hours so at most students get the classes during internship... I don't have much knowledge I only heard this so I don't give any other opinion for intership programs..

Placement Experience

4

In 3 year which is 5 semester, our college started giving us the opportunity of internship program which is good for students to gain experience and after that our college's placement cell start opted out students to get placement and here they set a criteria of 7 cgpa and no back for sitting in placements. And average placement salary of my branch is about 6 lakhs which is not that bad for any private colleges and also get a highest salary of 30-35 lakhs ... Percentage of students get placement is more than 80% students get a placement and rest 20% are those who don't clear their back papers.. And after completing my degree, my plans to get a job in Infosys or Google like company which is possible because in my college there are many companies comes every year and some of them are infosys, google, amazon etc..

Fees and Financial Aid

FEES STRUCTURE OF MY COLLEGE Semester 1 :- 104500 Semester 2:- 104500 Semester 3:- 109500 Semester 4:- 109500 Semester 5:- 115000 Semester 6:- 115000 Semester 7:- 121000 Semester 8:- 121000 This is my fees Structure including tution fees , admission fees ... And I paid 1500 at starting as Registration fees And also payed 15000 for security fees which is returned to me after the degree was completed... They Also give us opportunity like referal bonus if we are adding a student in our university then they will give us 10000 rs for a correct enrollment of a student... And Also gives scholarship and criteria for it was you have to maintain 8.5 cgpa and be in the top 15% in your branch to get scholarship which is 25%,50%,100% based on your cgpa... And For bca you have to pay a fees of 5 lakhs total , For btech (it) you have to pay 6 lakhs, for llb you have to pay 5.5 lakhs , for bsc you have to pay 3.8 lakhs etc...

Campus Life

5

In Amity University your campus life are generally good because of the environment of University there are always a function or fest are running every month. Some of Amit university fests that I am experienced was Amity film fest , Amity coding fest , AMICHROMA, Amity annual function, Amity Freshers fest .. and many fests are coming for me .. All the fests are generally held during the February - july months... And our library was also very good because there are so much books present which is matched your interest and there are also books of your perspective course and copies of it also available because at most students can get it during exams.. And every year they held a program called "Amity Sports Sangaram" which is played between all the universities of Amity in India every year and they also performed trials for selecting students for this tournament or program. And it is a private university so the coding clubs , summer camps for ncc students are very common for us.

Admission

I have no jee criteria and don't have good marks to get enrolled in tier 1 or 2 colleges so I have very less options are left which is some tier 3 colleges which are providing good courses to his students... And in my city there are only two colleges (tier 3) which is itm University and Amity University so I preferred Amity University because it is more good than itm because of its infrastructure and placement cell .. and as you know that there is no tough criteria for getting a private college so I get this college by giving a simple test which is about 60minutes and have 100 easy questions of pcm (my 12th course) .. I know my marks and there is no chance to get the other tier 1,2 colleges so I don't applied in other colleges..

Faculty

4

My time at Amity University Gwalior has been a positive one. The faculty is generally approachable and knowledgeable, with a good balance of experienced professors and younger, more dynamic teachers. I particularly enjoyed with our fellow faculties of cse branch because they give us a opportunity to move forward in our life .. The course structure is well-defined, and the curriculum is relevant to the industry. The exam system includes a mix of midterms, finals, and assignments, which helps in comprehensive learning. While the exams can be challenging, they are fair and designed to assess understanding. Faculties I like :- Vikas thada sir (our hod) , Ram kumar sir (maths teacher) , Santosh sir (maths teacher) , sourabh agarwal (python teacher) .. I like all of them because they teaches us very nicely and they are also very friendly to us. Faculties I don't like :- sandeep Gupta (DBMS teacher) , Rahul kumar (DBMS teacher) , alok jain (maths teacher) .. I don't like him because they are very rude and always scolded me . And exams are pretty competitive in first semester there are more than 50% students failed...

Interview Experience

5

For getting admission (in my course) You have to get a minimum 60% in 12th pcm And also 60% in 10th .. And after this criteria you have to pass a test which was give by university which is based on your previous class and respective with your course and it's a online exam which is not that much hard.. And in interview they ask you two or three questions which is based on why you chose your course and why you chose Amity as you preference.. And these questions are easy so no need to prepare for it you just have some basic knowledge about your course and you get it . Very simple

Night Life

3

My favourite hangout spots in my university are cafeteria, our sports ground.. I am always playing sports during our free classes which give me so much satisfaction and I love to do this activity and we are also enjoying in cafeteria during the lunch hours and for outside famous hangout there are some cafe outside the colleges but they are not good because many seniors smoking there and local students roaming there to fight with you and create a scenario without any reason so I don't like any outside hangouts spot but I love to play sports and after playing we all are hangout there on the ground which was my best moments in Amity.. And University present outside the city means out area so it is not safe to roaming around outside the university at night...

Other Applied Colleges

Madhav Institute of Technology and Science - [MITS] | Bachelor of Technology [B.Tech] (Computer Science and Engineering)

I didn't get B.tech (cse) there because of low grade... They give me btech (ece) but I want cse branch so I leave it and choose Amity...

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.
