Placement Experience

3

If I talk about the placement the average package offered from my course and department is 8-10 lac but it totally depend on an individual cgpa one has to struggle hard for cgpa but the point here is everyone wi not able to clear this packages since less numbers of students are able to secure it .also what I see in my course in a ample of students are pursuing acturial science since acturial science course is complementary with my course and average package of actuary is 15-20 lac based on how much you cleared the exams of actuary so its that is u act smart you will able to get a decent placement in thai course

Fees and Financial Aid

See I have told you the fees of 81000 it will be divided into 3 years like approx 28000 per year but it increases on average by 500-100 rs per year.also hindu college in which I am studying is offering numerous scholarships for being in 1st in your course 1st in 12th class in college and one of the greatest inspire scholarship provides for 80000/year for bsc pursuing students based on cutoff provided by inspire portal individual can apply for same on inspire.gov.in

Faculty

The faculties i iked is Dr Manoj kumar verma he offers propers holidaus and fully supportive sir helped him to live life and take no tension of future so much take everything lightly another faculty i liked is DR KAMAL Nain Our calculus teacher teaches so well that sometimws it doesn't feel to revise since concepts get stick to our mind once gets struck forever.there is semester system in our college 2 times exam are conducted a student has to study 3 core subjects and 4 elective subjects per semester.there are 22 total credits per semester.around 5-10 percent of students fail to clear the semester since they take the college life very lightly and take everything in fun course curriculum is relevant according to growing demand of data analyst.

Night Life

4

If we talk about hostel Life see hindu college has only girls hostel boys hostel is in construction and we are hoping that it complete by our end year so that we can enjoy a little bit of hostel Life at least .famous hangout places near the college is nagori tea stall sudama chaj , and tom uncle maggi point where you can enjoy entire vibe of North campus and become cool.the timings fir hostel in hindu college for girls is around 7 am to 6pm in evening considering safety fir girls which is a good step.Gum faculty is open for only students who have taken any part in sports activities at district state or national level likewise not open for all.hindu college has a good canteen where you can enjoy every snacks you'd like to have

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of Hansraj College is quite active. You are eligible to sit for campus placement offers from 5th semester onwards. Companies like Deloitte, capgemini arw frequent recruiters for several posts and positions. The highest offered package is somewhere around 22000 with the average being at 700000-800000. Not all students get placed on campus, however thr hands on training and learning makes you industry ready, making you eligible amd worthy to apply for off campus placement opportunities. Many students prefer not to sit for campus placements and rather opt for higher studies after graduation. I plan to do the same after getting my undergraduate degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the BSc Statistics (H) offered by Sri Venkateshwara College has been quite relevant and comprehensive in content. The core courses such as probability, inference, regression, and econometrics were the major reasons for opting for the subject of statistics. It provides us in-depth analytical training that is necessary for higher education and work in the field of data, though there is a need for exposure to software/tools as well. The semester-wise examination, which is moderately tough

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is just like any other college, and you need to do a lot of the skill enhancement by yourself. Here, you will learn something, but not everything that is relevant. The professors will teach according to the syllabus, be it really relevant in real life or not. Everything that you will be learning will be relevant for career in this field, but not enough. You require to put some extra efforts to gain more knowledge and practice.

Placement Experience:

Students typically become eligible from 3rd year/6th semester onwards for most companies. Some internships and tech roles may be available to 2nd-year students depending on the company criteria. Placement Percentage: Usually, 70–85% of eligible students get placed, depending on the stream. Highest placement rates are often in Computer Science, Economics, and Commerce streams. My plan is to become a software engineer.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Cource curriculum is highly relevant. It covers fundamental and advanced concepts of zoology , which was the main reason I choose this course. Subjects like human physiology, biochemistry, biomolecules, comparative anatomy of vertebrates, animal behaviour, ...etc. are highly interested and align with my interest. Practical components help in developing and understanding concepts more clearly. However, real world applications is limited. Curriculum prepare students well for further academics for PG or other competitive exams. Exam system is conducted at regular intervals with Internal assessment and semester end. Timings are appropriate . Difficulty level is moderate to high.

Hindu College, Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] {Hons.} (Mathematics)
Reviewed on Jan 6, 2026(Enrolled 2025)

Course Curriculum Overview:

For B.Sc (Hons) Mathematics at Hindu College, the curriculum follows the latest DU UGCF?2022 structure, so it covers both strong theory and some modern applications. The main reason to choose this course is the depth in core areas like Calculus, Algebra, Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Probability, which builds a very solid base for higher studies like M.Sc, data science or research. There are six semesters with continuous internal assessment plus end?semester exams, so students study regularly instead of only before finals. Exams are usually moderate to difficult because questions are concept?based, but the pattern is fair and gives weightage to assignments, tutorials and attendance. Overall, the course is quite comprehensive and relevant for careers in teaching, analytics, government exams and higher academics, though adding more practical projects, programming and real?life modelling could make it even more industry?oriented
