- The quality of teaching is good we do have a lot of extra curiculars to paritcipate in .
- As its a national college you get a lot of exposure to a lot of things .
- Good companies do ckme here for campus placements but wouldnt hire you just cause of the degree that you have but you will have to prove what you are
Dislikes
- Girl to boy ratio is 10:1 which is not so good
- A lot of college politics which is kind of unbearable at time
- Evaluation or marking mostly depends kn the faculties mood
Course Curriculum Overview
As we are taught from the first sem is very relevent to the industry that we are going ti work in so thats really helpfull for us to have an idea what we will be doing in a job . We only have 1 exam for each subject at the end of the sem before that we submit assignments and get marked on that.
Internships Opportunities
Few cources do have to internship at 2nd year so we get the idea of industry and get what our teachers and trying to say and for us to have better picture and understanding of the cousre we dont really get a big stipend for interships cause as they are compulsory we have to do it dispite of the stipend
Placement Experience
Mostly ppl do get placed and companies like puma and tanishk did make a good offer and student are eligible for campus placements from 3rd year and if u do know what you are doing it isnt really hard for you get a job talking abt averege pakage it is around 4 to 6 lack whihc goes up to 20 to 25 lack if you are really good at what you
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester wise around 2 lack fees we pay. No different fees for different cast unless you have your bank statement saying you have less income than certain amount. We do get scholarships but thier are lot of document submissions and you still would get it
Campus Life
Every year thier is a fest held named spectrum which involves a lot of activities for 3 days and also a sport event names converge which is happens between all the 19 campus of nift all of india come to one campus and compete agains each other in vairious games , we get access to a lot of applications and taken out for events such as bharat tex textile exibitions held by ministry of textile and they are very knowledgeable for the students
Admission
Talking of my course it need pcm in 12th for eligibility to appear for the exam plus a good rank to get it into top 3 clgs , and about other colleges that i did apply for were pvt clgs so it doesnt make sence to go to pvt clg when u are getting into top 3rd clg in india , I did get accepted by a lot of clgs but i willingly choose this course
Faculty
The facutly student relationship is very good if you mantain it they are very open to help and as per my course it is very well planed and taught , and if you really pay attention in class you wouldnt really fail if u submit all the assignments on time and also we dont have a lot of written exams so it is representing the work that we are told to do.
Interview Experience
We do have give an enterance exam for grtting in and if mostly general knowledge not that hard if you are up to date we just have reffer to thuer last year paper pattern and would get what they have to ask and once you clear youlll get a rank and accroding to the rank you will be assigned a college
Night Life
We do have gym in our campus but pur campus closes at 9 so you cant access gym after 9 pm we do have nescafe in our campus and as far as the hostel is in the picture its just for 1st year girls so not a lot of people stay in campus so thier not such a nightkife unless thier are events happening in college
