Course Curriculum Overview

4

Overall the cource corriculam at fergusson college pune is robust and provides a strong foundation for academic and professional growth . however adopting modern teaching stratergy regularly updating the syllabus could make it more better

Placement Experience

4

The college placement rate is quite good . so many companies visit college for oncampus placements .stidents become eligible for campus placements in their 3rd and last year that is from their 5th semester they are allpwed to gove interviews .70 percent students gate placed in College

Fees and Financial Aid

My fee for this year is ?56,392 which is same for every categary including obc and open but sc/st casts have ?30000 as their fee cause they get 50% scholarship and also from this year obc students will get ?12,000 per year scholarship

Campus Life

4

The campus life is great and since the College is blessed with amazing and great campus across 64 acres is really great place to explore. The extra curricular activities are also tgeir like various cultural events different nss activites etc

Admission

The college has good placement rates with good reputation its also one of the oldest institute crossing 140 years of legacy this year Its really prestige and good . also other colleges did not have good placement rates also their reviews were also not that great

Faculty

4

The College faculty is great they are friendly and supportive . personaly i liked my all teachers in my 3 semesters. In 1year you have 2 semesters and per sem their are 2 ce exams and 1 final exam. The passing for ce exam combined but for finals its individual

Night Life

3

Favorite hang spot is canteen near my department. But for night life their isnt much things to do collge as libraries are closed at 8 pm and only Hostel students are roaming in campus but in fest times their are different things to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well structured it contains modules like Quantum Mechanics, Python,C and a newly added course on generative AI for skill development, which covers a good mixture of theory and practicles. The faculty is supportive and the lab is well-equipped. Its a good course if you're serious about physics and want to build usefull skills for the future.

Placement Experience:

placements can happen in any semester starting from 2nd semester, it completely depends on the companies which come to the campus for cadets. 95% of the cadets get placed at the end of their course. teh packages vary from 300000 to 1200000 per year. note that this is the stipend you get while training, once this training is finished and you have al the certifications and are medically fit for sailing you get ti earn 10 times more only after 2 years.

The placments for Bachlor's were not that great. They are more in the favour of Commerce applicants. The maximum package during my time was 400000 which is really less than the market. Also, the placments and the roles are really average.

I always wanted to study forensic science so I chose this college. there are 10 faculty in the department. non-teaching is about 5. the teacher to student ratio is 1:9 which is pretty good we get proper concentration on our studies. all the teachers are well qualified and have completed master's degrees in their respective subjects. the exams are of medium-level difficulty.

Employment after this course is little hard as you can get good package job after completing masters (MSc) But still you can get internships at biotech companies or pharma companies.
