The college campus of this college is very friendly. Also respected seniors are behave very friendly woth us.
This college provided many chances to get a placement for textile departments students
a beautiful river Ganga flows in front of this college.

Dislikes

It established on 1908. So some of the building is very old.
Some of lab equipments are not available.
The conditions of the classrooms are not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

Like this college I was choosed many colleges but due to my low rank I cant get better colleges.At initially I dont like the colleges but day by day my love for college is invreasing. Around january a big programme is conducted for freshers welcome.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Placement Experience

The on campus placements of this college is very good. More than 95% students from Textile Technology department got on campus placement in this year 2024. The highest package of this college in this year is 24 Lakh per annum & average placement is 7-8 Lakh per annum.

Fees and Financial Aid

The main branch of this college is Textile technology.So the students from textile technology department have more opportunity than other depertment of this college.The yearly tution fees is very low, 6000 so that anyone can effort. Reservation seats is peovided for the minor students. Without admission fee, tution fees we have to also paid exam fees.

Campus Life

The big programme of this college 'Texavision' arranged around january . The tech fest is conducted in the same time. In this tech fest all the students have to compete with others. Many books for the semester exams and also for programming is provided from the library.

Admission

I applied many colleges like Kalyani Government Engineering college , Jalpaiguri Government Engineerig college & Coochbehar Govermwent Engineering colleges but due to my low rank I cant get those colleges. I can admission other private colleges but cause of financial problem my family cant effort those colleges.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio of this college is average. But the faculties behave with us very friendly.Some of the faculties like Prabir Kurmar Chakraborty and Arnab Kumar Dey I luke most.There are 8CA exams and 2 semester exams in a year.

Night Life

In this college there is a big ground for students to play the sports like Football, Cricket and other games. In this college campus there is a canteen from where we can eat our neccessary food.

My experience about techno

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd year onwards , students become eligible for internships and stepping in 4th yr , students get eligible for campus placement. Techno provides decent campus placements according to your marks. Good marks also with skills get you better salary. Minimum 7.5 cgpa is mandatory to have you sit for campus placements. The lowest package is 3.4 LPA and highest vary but students also get 14LPA easily. Wipro, tcs ,cap ,gemini, amazon , ibm etc.

The placement is really sucks here , the training and placement cell here do nothing , they simply do smoking all the day ,. those students who get off-campus are happy at-least . But tose who got on-campus , they sucks by the college administration . Also college admin forced some students to sit for placements in low package companies.

Good private college with good faculty member

Placement Experience:

The fourth year student (7th semester) eligible for campus placement. For internship also starts from 7th semester in off campus. Most companies are startup or service based company comes in the on campus placement. Highest package offer in 2022 is 45lpa from Amazon.2023 highest offer is 7lpa and 2024 is 9lpa from TCS . Around 193% students got placed in 2022.

Don't join if you don't care about the iiit tag cause we have poor college life

Placement Experience:

There are campus drives being conducted where companies recruits. I don't have any idea of what companies will visit yet as the drive in our college hasn't started yet . Last year the amount of student placed on campus was around 50 percent. My plans after getting degree is to try off campus placement. Highest package was around 30 lpa and average was around 12 lpa.

SURTECH REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

The university is MAKAUT so the curriculum is up to the mark. I liked Programming so I chose B.TECH in CSE. The curriculum is very basic in terms of practical world problem though they are building blocks, but you need to do the extra bit of work to qualify for the real world scenarios. I think more mandatory projects integrated with current set of skills would be a cherry on top. Exams are very frequent like every 3-4 months there is a semester exam and they are moderately difficult.
