My beloved College GCETTS????

Well when I cleared The WBJEE exam i thought of studying the IT or CSE. But I took this course because of the placements ???? how silly. as i'm in 4th year right I am proud of my decision. I love my course it's very very very good. It's a totally different department of study because not many students are interested in this but they don't know that what is in the course, you can learn about the process of making fabric and other Textile application and there is a enormous amount of science is there to make textile products.which is very interesting and you can only learn it by taking the course. Well I don't want you to join... The less number of students less competition in this sector ???? jokes apart it's great.

As I told earlier the main attraction of my college is Placement. Every student of Textile and APM department get's Interships in renowned companies like Vardhman, Raymond, Trident,Sahi, Aditya Birla Jayasree,Donier, Welspun and many more. In some companies you will get stipend but you have to crack the interview of three rounds with comprised of Aptitude Test,GD and PI

Placements in our college is The main attraction. This why I took admission. 100% students of Textile and APM department get's Intership in companies like Vardhman, Raymond, Trident, Welspun, Doner and many more. almost every student gets placed each year with a average package or 4.8lakh per annum and the highest package in previous year was 14lpa by Trident Group.

The fee structure is very affordable for any students out there. The admission fee for my course is 6500 and thereafter 6000 per year a total of 30-40k. There is Economically Weaker Section category facility is also provided where you don't have to pay any fees if you get a good rank in WBJEE. Student loan facility is also given. And for West Bengal residing students there is SVMCM from where you can get 60000/- per year scholarship if you have good marks in 12th Board exam. The main attraction is the campus placement and intership. 100% student of our department get's placed in renowned companies of Textile Sector and also 100% students get placed in companies package average 5 lakh per annum

We have one and only Annual Fest called "Texavision " and it has a glorified impact on the whole college. It is celebrated in 4days 1st day is called Tech fest , second day alumini meet and other programs like local bands , 3rd day New Comers welcome and in night Band songs,4th day whole night Band songs by renowned artists. There are 36000 books in the library i think so not sure and 11000 journals. You will get almost everything you want from the library We have fully air conditioned classroom with projectors and green board white board both. A total of 44 laboratories for different departments. Sports culture is not so good we don't have a big groud. But the ground we have is good for football and cricket in miniature versions .

The hostels were very clean and spacious. the electric bill is very low for the hostel. Right now food is not provided in hostel you have to go outside or from the canteen inside the college for meals. hostels have free wifi facility. Hostel registration is done each year and anyone can afford it. The cost of living is very cheap and reasonable for hostel.I'm in my final sem and currently staying in a rented house near my college after the final exams I'll apply for hostel when I'll become eligible as a 4th year student.

Admission to this college can only done via WBJEE exam. West Bengal domicile students get more seats than other states. My rank was 9518 General caste in 2021. You can get into this college with a rank upto 12000 if you are from general caste.

All of faculty members are highly qualified in our college. Maximum of them are from renowned IITs. Majority of them are PhD Holders. The faculties of my Department are very good and cooperative they are highly qualified in their respective domains. We don't have to take Tuitions from outside, the quality of study in our college is extraordinary whenever you face any difficulty you can approach the professors they will sort your problems.
