Good college with good placements

The course curriculum is quite updated and the technologies that they teach in class have high demand in the market . The curriculum prepares you for the placement really well and the exams are conducted in ST (Scheduled Test)and ETE(End term examination) , ST happen every 2 months, these are usually 2 and the score of the best ST are evaluated and the ETE is end term which happens at the end of the semester and you have to score good marks in ETE if your ST didn't go well.

Many companies visited the campus to offer internship some of the big names are razorpay, pando, tech curators etc the stipend that they generally is 25k , if you're eligible you can apply and if you're good at your skills you can get the offer.

The campus placements are quite good at chitkara University, the placement happen at the Rajpura campus so the college will arrange transport for you to go there , you're eligible for placement during 6th semester and eligibility depends on the company visiting if you're eligible you can apply and go to Rajpura. There were many companies that visited some of them are wipro, infosys, razorpay, paytm , oyo,ibm,droom, coding ninjas,lg etc and many more.The average package that they offer is between 5-6 lpa and the highest was 36lpa.

The fees per semester for BTech CSE is 70k per semester and in the first semester it is 80k , 10k is admission fees only on first semester and it increases for batch who will be 2,3 years younger than you and hostel fees during my batch was around 30-35k and for dayscholar it depends on where you live ,buses come from different part like baddi,kalka, zirakpur, chandigarh etc. Bus fees ranges for around 13k-28k depending upon where you live. There is no scholarship even if you get 9 or 10 cgpa they will not reduce your fees you have to pay the full fees

There are many events that happen in the campus there is freshers, dj night, standup comedy and celebration of various festivals throughout the year. There are also many sports events that happen like basketball tournament and table tennis and badminton if you're good at it you can join the college team and go to other colleges to play for your college. Apart from sports there are various clubs for different activities like ncc, nss, debate club, sports, hostel committee if you're interested in joining the club you can join the fees is 500.

I didn't applied to any other college because chitkara provide good placements so I had made my mind that I have to take admission here. As for the eligibility you need minimum 60% in your 12th class to take admission you don't need any jee or any other competitive exam to take admission just 12th marks. The admission experience is quite good, just call on the chitkara number and they will make the admission process simple for you if you are from some far away city.

The faculty is quite good at chitkara hp campus. The teachers are well qualified and make things easy for students to understand and they try to make lecture interactive by conducting quiz and various activities. The teacher to student ratio is 1:60 so teacher can pay attention to every student . Per semester there are around 6-8 exams which also includes practicals and you have to score minimum 40% in the exams to pass and there are no scholarship even if you score 9 or 10 cgpa they will not reduce your fees.

Nightlife at chitkara is not that much , hosteler are only allowed outside the campus between 5-6 pm so there's not much that you can do there are not many cafes or hang out spots near the college the nearest happening place would be chandigarh, you can just roam in your campus during night and you have to be in your room around 10 pm.
