Course Curriculum Overview
Teaching methods should be more precised and more practical should be done cause theoritical knowledge is not enough. Practical knowledge is very much necessary for the Real World Experience. But the placement ratio is good which is a major part of our department.
Internships Opportunities
Several companies like Microsoft, BNY, PWC, JPMC , Reliance Industries Limited provides internship for 3rd year students and the offer a nice amount. For our batch more than 150 students got internship opportunities at several MNCs.
Placement Experience
For 3rd year students internships are available and from 7th sem onwards students become eligible for the campus placements. Over 150 companies visit our campus for placement and almost 85% students get placed every year.
Fees and Financial Aid
The yearly course fees I have to pay is 28,000. If anyone can avail reservation benefit the tuition fees is not applicable for them otherwise for General category Student the yearly course fees is 1,54,000. For PWD candidates the fees remain same as for the reservation. SVMCM and OASIS are the Scholarships applicable for students of West Bengal.
Campus Life
Infrastructure for sports should be improved and more sports facilities should be included. Hostel life shoul be more disciplined and final year students should be provided single rooms for the placement related preps.
Hostel Facilities
Food quality is moderate and should be improved. Hostel is mandatory for the students and in final year single room should be provided. In our college 3 students share each rooms and hostel life is quite interesting for students because of some stuffs.
Admission
I get into this college through JEE Mains and counselling process is conducted by JOSAA. I took admission in this college because the college is in my home state and the overall record of our institution is quite good. So after a overall research I choosed this college over others.
Faculty
Faculty mambers are helpful but they don't want to give marks in the examinations. Faculties like Manas Kumar Mondal, Durbadal Mondal and Manab Mallik are the best faculties of out department. Every semester there are two examinations Midterm and Endterm and the difficulty level of exams remains moderate but profs are very strict in giving marks but students usually don't get fail in the exams.
Night Life
Nightlife of the college is interesting and roaming of people take place mostly at nights. Hostel is the most interesting thing anyone can get in his or her life. Library closes at 9 PM and it remains open for whole night during exams.
