Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum at jss academy of technical education offers a solid foundation in my course. Core subjects like DSA, os, DBMS, are well covered, ensuring students get deep knowledge about the subjects. And elective subject like ML and Web Development provide the opportunities to explore emerging fields. Area of improvement like implementation of practical learning, students trained as per the demand of industry.
Placement Experience
From the start of 7 th sem students are eligible for placement and companies started visiting for placements and in 8 th sem you got noc from the college. Companies like Accenture, hcl, ion, procdna, convegenious, Josh tech and many more visits in our campus. Highest package is 17 lpa and lowest is 3lpa. Company criteria is mostly 70 percent and some may ask for 60 percent also and some ask for more than 80 percent it totally depends on company.
Fees and Financial Aid
In the first year the total feesbl I paid was 139850 which is sun of academic fees plus the seat reservation fees from counselling. And every year you just have to pay 119850. There are many scholarship programs like upgovt scholarship in which you can enroll and get scholarship.Mg category is obc and I get 64000 as scholarship same for general and or sc/st they get upto 90000
Campus Life
The college experience was good got new friends, new learning, new experiences and get more chances of exploring yourself and be the best version of your. There sports events and technical fest were organised in our campus. There are many social club in our college were people can join and be a part.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel rooms are furnished with basic amenities like bed, table ,chair, cupboard and ceiling fan. Washroom areas are common and proper hygiene is maintained. The hostel mess offers decent variety of food and menu is rotated weekly. Hostel registration process is smooth but requires early registration due to limited availability.
Admission
I have taken admission through jee mains percentile .I got obc reservation . I got a good percentile then i fill the counselling form and through that i alloted jss college with computer science branch.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio was quite good all teachers are very supportive and helping. The faculty of IT branch was very good. There are 3 internal exams and 1 external exams in each semester. Level of exams was normal you can easily clear exam by 1 week before internal exams and for semester you have to start studying before 1 month and the internal exams help more in the preparation of semesters.
Night Life
There is one gym in our college that open for 1 hour for girl and boy timings are different. One cafeteria that open early 7am and closes upto 6pm And library timing for working days in 8 am to 8 pm and for Saturday 8am to 4 pm and on Sunday there is a Holiday. In you can go out from hostel after 6 am and return back before 8:30 pm.
