Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the course curriculum around 7/10. One of the main reasons I chose this course was because it covers all the core subjects and gives a proper base in the field. The inclusion of labs and some project work also made it look more practical and useful at the beginning. but after studing, i feel the curriculam is more focused on theory than practical learning
Internships Opportunities
internship apportunities in my college are available but most of them are not directly provided by the college in large numbers. imstead students usually have to apply on their pwn through online platforms or off campus drives
Placement Experience
placements in my colege are decent but not exceptional. students usually become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester, when companies start visiting the campus for recruitment drives.
Fees and Financial Aid
in my course the fees is divided into different parts like tuition fees , admission charges, lab fees , and some other other compulsory charges. in the first year i paid around 1 lakh . for second year onword , the fees were slightly lower, around 75k-90k per year.
Campus Life
my overall experience of campus life has been quite average to good . academically it is fine but the social and extracurricular side depends a lot on how active you are. the college conducts an annual cultural fext and a technical fest is also organized
Admission
i had applied to a few other engineering colleges as well, including some better-known government and private colleges, i did get confirmed admission in acouple of private colleges , but i chose this college mainly because it offered a good balance between fees, location and academics.
Faculty
In my college, the faculty-to-student ratio is around 1:25, which is okay. Most teachers are qualified and know their subjects well. Some teachers are very helpful and approachable—you can go to them after class and they will explain things again without any problem. But at the same time, a few teachers are not that interactive and mostly just focus on finishing the syllabus.
Interview Experience
the process was quite straightforword after the entrance exam scores followed by counslling rand seat allotment . students were selected based on rank , catagory, and cutoff during counselling rounds.
Night Life
the hostel timing are generally strict, with entry expected by around 8-9 pm so late night outing inside campus are not common . because of this most students unwind by spending time in hostel rooms, playing indoor games.
