A Bliss of a College but not yet

The course curriculum is very relevant and flexible. It is designed as per the new education policy(nep-2020). So, it gives flexiblity to pursue ones wishful discipline after completing the core course.

Companies while coming for placements also recruit students for internships. They give a decent stipend. But as our college is more research oriented, people often go for research internshipsn in iits.

Placements are pretty great for a newly opened college. Students are open for placements from the start of fourth year onwards. Companies like ABB, Ford, Samsung have come to on campus recruitments. Around 70 percent of the students get placed.

Tution fees: 62500 Rs(For General and OBC) Institute fees: 9900 Rs (For All) Tution Fees is free for SC and ST Students. However they are supposed to pay the institute fees. Scholarships are provided for Financially Instable Students(Below 1 lac and 1-5 lacs)

Overall, the campus life is pretty great. There are two annual fests: the cultural fest Le ciel and The technical fest Gyanith. Both are attended by various colleges across pondicherry and Tamilnadu. Other facilities like Library, Clubs are also great.

Hostel facililty is also pretty decent. Facilities like cupboard, Study table and chair are provided.The mess menu is also pretty great. The quality is superb. The Hostel and Mess are Both very Affordable.

I applied to varius other colleges too during the JOSAA counselling but I chose this college over others as it is a a nit and provides multiple opportunites to one. I preffere it over teir 2 iiits like kottayam, sricity.

We have well established faculty who had done their studies in reputed institutes. They are caring and supportive. Couse structure is well designed Marking schemes are very flexible and easy to pass. Most faculties are supportive for research.

Night life is pretty average. The Hotel intimings are ok(9:30). But there is only one cafeteria inside the campus. It can be improved much. Hangout places are very less. So one can chill taking a walk ouside the college.
