Reality of nit Silchar

The course curriculum is very good. There are classes from 8:00 a.m. To 5:00 p.m. in which they provide classes and in between there is a gap from 12:00 p.m. To 1:00 p.m. for lunch and they also provide tutorial classes in which they solve students doubt related to the subject. Every subject have rutorial classes also we have labs for computer science, electronics, electrical, mechanical lab electronics. So I like the curriculum very much. It is very helpful to develop very good environment of study

For the intensive opportunities that are available in my college is like most students take the internship in after second year or in the second year, but some does not. The internship is totally depends on the skills you might have. I don't have the proper noise about the projects or something else but I can give you the idea that they have paid internship as my senior told me it is around 50, 000 or 60,000 as an intern which is quite good cgpa also matter for internship and we should properly maintain the cgpa for internship or placement

The placement of my college is very good. I choose my college because of only the reason I choose my college is the placement for CSE branch the average package 24 lakhs and the highest package is 82 lakhs in 2023 and four ece branch the average package is 18 lakhs students mostly choose C++ language because most of the seniors says that C++ is very often language to learn. DSA there are all the companies like Google, Microsoft infosys apple linkedin wipro and all the famous companies they ask questions regarding the dsa

I have paid about 121000 for hostel and mess fees only my family income is below 1 lakh so I don't have to pay the tuition fee and my batchmates have to pay the whole tuition fee because they belong to the general category and also their family income is more than 5 lakh and the students who have the family income between 1 lakh and 5 lacks they have pay 1/3 of the tuition fee but all students have to pay the hostel and mess fee categories and family income doesn't matter in the hostel and mess fees

The annual technical fest in my college is named is tecnoesis it is an technical event in which there are so many modules like robotron and mobile games like battleground mobile India Bluetooth blades. There are lan event for the such games and a student that might have interest in those modules. They can participate in it. Also there are price pool of every module which was around for particular module there are like or 30,000 a prize pool which was distributed in the first second and third rank student

In the hostel I am in the two-seater room. They provided two beds which is 6.5 ft long and for one person it is very comfortable. They provide two tables and two chairs and almira two and the partition in the almira is divided also. The light is very good in the room every after 2 days they clean up the corridor and we also our room there are two lane ports in every room. The internet speed is not so good but considerable but let me tell you something about mass food. It is not that good. I'd like the food quality and I didn't like the recipes that they make. I belong from other states + I don't like the food quality there

I choose an nit Silchar for the placement as well as the curriculum of study and there is no ragging in the college also my jee mains rank was 17, 000 and I prefer branch over College so for CSE branch I choose nit Silchar and I I was got ece branch in nit Jamshedpur but I did not want that branch so I applied in CSAB round for counseling and I got nit Silchar cse branch which I think I am for. So I took the branch and packed the bags and came to silchar and I think I took the best decision in my life. The college is very good and the placement is very good. The admission process is quite simple. We have to to take all the documents which are provided on the site of nit Silchar they verify the document and they gave you the hostel formalities to fill up and you are admitted to nit Silchar

The faculties are quite good and the ratio of faculties to the student is is good. There is 70 student on a faculty so it might be the ratio of 1 is to 70. Faculties are quite good. They help us. They gave us their contact number and told us that we can call them whenever we need. We can ask them. Only academic question as well as we can ask them something related to our family I like all the faculty members I don't like only one faculty member named as patnayak. I don't know the full name but he is called patnayak sir because he smoke in front of students and scold students.

The nightlife of nit Silchar it is not that good but it is considerable for first year boys. The hostel closes at 7:00 p.m. after that they are not allowed to go outside the hostel, but whenever there is an event or something organized by seniors or professors, we can go outside after the 7:00 p.m. by asking the warden there is gym in which the equipment are quite good and there is all the equipment which works properly but the atmosphere is there is so moisturous so in the gym there is no ACS or fans. This is a cons for the gym and libraries also in the libraries and there is no working ACS. We feel so much hot in the library. The outside the campus the area is like undeveloped or low developed. The city closes around 10:00 to 11:00 p.m. after that I didn't find any shop open. So yeah that's it
