RICS Review

After my BTech i wanted to pursue higher studies in my core so i choose this course as it provided assured placements too. The curriculum is wel designed and very much similar to real world work and got to learn a lot from it. Areas of improvement would be if more practical exposure would be provided it would be more helpful. Exams if they are conducted twice each sem would be better rather than all at once as the load increases to stidy everything at the end and assignments ro be reduced if exams ar conducted twice in every sem.

Roles were all related to project management. Companies were Turner and Townsend, Savils, Knight Frank, Anarock, CBRE, ANJ, Lodha, TATA, Karle and many startups. Stipend was 25k being highest. There were students worling without stipend too. Students are allowed to find internship on their own.

After completimg 2sem students are eligible for campus placements. Mock GD and interviews are conducted in 2 sem whivh will be assessed and will affect the overall SGPA. There are multiple companies like JLL, CBRE, Turner and Townsend, AWFIS, C&W, SPCL,GR Infra, GMR, Rider Levett Bucknail, Godrej, ICICI Bank, JWIL, Knight Frank, Savills, Vishwaraj etc. Around 98% of the students were placed from the campus interview. Profiles were for project management. Highest package was 28 LPA by Rider Levett Bucknail.

Scholarships if Gmat score is above 90% ( until 2022.) 10th, 12th and Degree percentage is >95 in each. These are the only two until.the year 2022. Show it during the fees payment and ask the college employee before fee payment

Aminova is the biggest cultural festival were students compete against each other in teams or single. At the end price is given for the students achieving academically. This is typically held in April month and its for more than a week with events being held continuously over the week. Library is good and each floor usually has a library. Youll have to register once and then issue the books. The biggest sports event is held in September and its for more than 15 days. Schools are divided into clusters and each cluster has minimum 3 schools and they compete against each cluster hich has a cluster coordinator and other coordinators. Last day students who have wom are felicitated and cluster wise prices are also provided. One among the various clusters wins based on points for each price they win. Sports are both indoor and outfoor single and group too.

So room is of dorm type. 2 sharing is the only option available in hostel. 2 people will share a room and 6 people will.share a washroom and toilet and comman basin area. Some dorms have 4 rooms with 2 washroom and 2 toielt amd 2 basin with 8 people sharing a dorm. Meal is okayish not that great in mess. Theres cafeteria where u can pay and eat everyday. The food is quote affordable considering its for students. Registration for first year is to be done physically in college and post which you can register on Amizone portal. Locality is a typical village but its better to take histel considering the distance. Most of the students stay in India bulls but is convenient only if you have a two wheeler.

I dint apply to any other college other than this. After registration I had to attend a personal interview post which I was selected. Entrance exams scire above 90% is accepted like Gmat, Cat etc. Scholarships are also provided based on the scores.

Faculties are approachable and quite helpful. I dint like or dislike any faculty all the faculties were equal. Exams are only mid sem but lots of assignments and submission depends on the lecturers. Some ask us to submit all at once at the end of semester and some ask stage wise submission which may be 3 times totally in a sem. It is quite easy to clear exams and questions are not always from book youll have to use your commonsense. Exams are very much relevant to course curriculum and helps you build your critical thinking. Scoring is not very easy though but its not that diffucult to pass exams.

I just has a personal interview and they asked me questions regarding my engineering topics. I was confident throught the interview amd answered questions which were known to me. Process ks you'll have to register in rics portal first post whivh there will be an interview and if you are selected they'll let you know followed by fee payment

Gym is not in the college. There are lots of cafetria and food is decent but you get bored of eating the same everyday especially for hostel students. Even outside college the food is limoted and its not close to the main road. Hostel.timings wotj day outpass is before 8pm and night pass depends on how many pass you take. There's very beautuful sunset view in the higjway side and half of the college will be sitting there during evening. Locally its moderately safe to roam around at night. The staff is very strict about the hostel timings especially for girls. Near to college theres notjing for nigjt life youll have to go to Panvel and go anywhere from there. Vashi has better night life.
