Course Curriculum Overview

5

My aspect to choose this course is because i am not clear.. in which course i have to go further physics chemistry or maths and we can easily prepare for govt jobs if our main motive is for govt jobs. Curriculum prepares very well we have great knowledge of mostly topics which can help us for further academic pursuits. Like.. for bsc physical science i thought that there is chance for selecting dse in ist year.. throght which we have mostly knowledge of 1 subject. Teaching methods are good After 4-5 months semester exams held difficulty level is moderate.

Faculty

Faculty to student relationship is good .. we all k ow mostly are the professors and college there is class representative but inspite we ca. Ask our problem's in groups so all the students are approachable to teachers. faculty behaves very good with students Maths department and chemistry department ilove the most they explain us everything in good manner point to point. I think physics department cam be better. there is problem in lab. they ask us to do everything with the help of book yes some teachers are good but some teacher are there exception.. 2 semester exams per year.. and 6 semester exams for 3 years mostly all the students pass in the exams.. there are regular continuously assessment in the class for the maths of about 70 marks attendance marks above 85% got full marks for attendance. Course syllabus is relevant we got knowledge of about all the topics not deeply but yes we got idea of the topics we can study it deeply.. if we want.. there is sufficient time.. we bave option to choosee dse im 2nd year through which.. we have a great knowledge of 1 subject from physics chemistry and maths..

Course Curriculum Overview:

I quite like solving Maths , so it is my interest that made me do so . Further I find Maths a bit easy to me. Curriculum helps me quite a lot for real world applications by preparing me in minor degree and a major degree. It is also a lot helpful in communication skills and connecting to different things being part of different societies. I think the teaching method should be more of logical and analytical development in my course rather than being just based on theorems and proofs , Further teaching should be more easy and tech based , Faculty should provide us handouts of every class before they start. The frequency is moderate , that is actually good that you get time to participate in other events and prepare for a lot other things . Exams are quite moderate , they are nor too tough nor easy , It just depends on person if they have prepared the basic readings

Hansraj College provides good placement opportunities with students becoming eligible from the fifth semester onward. The college has an active placement cell that facilitate recruitment drives. The top national International companies highest package was 23,00,000 per annum. Average packet package of nine lakh per annum, medium package of 8.4,00,000 per Anum and total offers over 200 by a large percentage of students from B. Commerce and economics department receive placement. A smaller percentage of mathematic owners. Students typically opt for campus placements as many pursue masters, decrease or other competitive exams. The highest package specifically for BSC in mathematics is around 14 to 13,00,000 per annum. The placement rate for the specific course can be lower than others around 20% to 40% as many students pursue higher studies. Example MSc from IITs or via JAM examination for MBA. Top companies from various sector specifically consulting and finance visit the campus. Major equators are DeloitteKPMGEYPWC action. Your HCL, BYJU'S ZS Associates been and Company DE Shaw, United airlines and ICICI Bank. Common roles include data analysis, aerial science, quantitative finance, operations, research analysis, and various consulting and finance related positions. My plans after completing BSC honours in mathematics, popular career parts include pursuing a masters degree MBA or preparing for government exams like civil services

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would take the electronics honour, course curriculum as good to be very good in terms of both relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum is well structured and covers core subject as electronic device, analog and digital electronic circuit theory, basic communication system, which helps in building a strong conception foundation in terms of relevance. The course provide essential theoretical knowledge required for higher studies and entry-level roles in electronic field. However, while the syllabus is academically improvement, incorporating more practical exposure, industry or topics and hands on project to better align with current technological advance.

Placement Experience:

The placements are fairly decent. Although majority of the people who get placed are mostly from two courses - BCom(H) and Economics. I've seen some real top companies visit the college like Goldman Sachs and Bain. People from science courses don't get a large amount of placements. People from Maths and Computer Science still have heavy chances of getting placed.

Well for me it was my prior interest in the field of zoology during my neet prep times , that made me to choose this course. Along with that the hansraj colege has good reputation in its zoology department as well . But the college still follow traditional way of teaching thatbinvolve teaching straight out from ppt , directly reading the sentences for some. Though mosts sof t he soecimens are available in the college but the only bad thing is that the ration of student to microscope is very high . Like most of the microscope don't even work. It becomes pretty hectic for us to study gor core sub along with electives .taking heavy subject from the pool of ge , sec , vac , is a kind of wastage because most if the teachers don't even take classes properly .
