Course Curriculum Overview
The manipal academics i widely renowned. And is at par with courses in iits and nits. The profs and researchers are very helpful here. We have around 10-12 libraries with ample amount of books and space for students.
Internships Opportunities
Since the college is situated in a tier 1 city there are a lot of internship opportunities. Also a lot of companies viisit the campus to hire interns with maximum stipend of 1.5 lakhs per month . Nvidia has also visited the campus.
Placement Experience
The placement record is quite i.pressive. over 200+ companies have visited the campus till now and the highest package recorded on campus is 52 lpa and average package is 8 lpa. The placement percentage is also very good like 96-98%.
Fees and Financial Aid
The year wise fees is 490000. The hostels are expensive. They are like 261000 for one year and they are double sharing ac room. But the rooms a re premium quality. There is no category based fees in this college. But they do provide scholarship. People can avail AICTE scholarship of rs 12 lakhs for the whole course
Campus Life
The campus is lush green with a lot of sprot facilites. We have a sports complex called marena which houses indoor sports like basketball, badminton, tennis ,squash ,multilevel gym, pool, board games and a sauna bath. The campus has also a big cricket ground .
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are premium in our campus. We have our own thermostat, attached bathroom. The housekeeping services are very good and prompt. The hostels are triple sharing quadruple sharing double sharing and single.
Admission
I had appeared for jee and other private institutes but couldn't make through. I chose this college because of the manipal tag. The admission process very simple. You have to appear for the MET exam that is scheduled twice a year. You will then be selected based on your merit
Faculty
The academic course is a bit difficult in manipal. You will be packed with quizzes and exams. After the first month you will have to give a quiz for 10.marks. after that you will have your midsems for 30 marks. And then at the end of semester you will have your endsems for 50 marks. This total sums up to 100 marks.
Night Life
The in time for boys and girls hostel is same i.e. 11 pm. We have tracks where most of the people.go for a walk after dinner. The night canteens are open till 5 am in the morning and you can order anything you want at cheap prices.
