Course Curriculum Overview
I like bca because I can learn programming/coding and I selected it cause of that reason. Well viva and many projects and presentations prepare us for future. I would like tk have more practical and logic based exams rather than parrot learning
Internships Opportunities
Every semester many outside companies offers internships and if a student want to do that they can do it but university only provides intership and the end year of study. So I would say they should allow intership each year.
Placement Experience
They've very good placements my seniors those who passed receives average 400000 per annum job and few received 120000 per annum job and max it went to 200000 per annum. So I'm quite fortune to join this university
Fees and Financial Aid
40000 per semester, they also provide free coursera courses and linkdin profile and also known for best placements and admission fee is 50000, scholarships are available too if you want to avail it Many clubs like sports are available
Campus Life
Many festivals like bihu, durga puja etc gets celebrated here. No racism or negativity is encouraged in my university. many non Indian students studying here faced no discrimination, so I would say it's pretty good
Admission
I've applied to many colleges but I choose Assam downtown University because my teacher suggested me to join in it as it have good placements packages. And I like the environment around here. You can take admission from the university campus or by going to Assam downtown hospital's 6 or 7th floor it's reserved for University related stuff.
Faculty
It's good, for 75 students per class the student to teacher ratio is good and doesn't needs to be changed and I'm happy with that. I like faculty of computer technology as I'm studying bca. 2 sessional exams and 1 end semester exam. Many practicals and viva exams too.
Interview Experience
Many test and many interviews Process for admission is you can directly go to university for admission and apply for it or go to Assam downtown hospital's 6 or 7th floor for admission process, well I did cuet but took admission before the results were out
Night Life
There are many cafes based on each blocks, there are many sports arenas and many hostels for both boys and girls. Gyms are available too. Yes the locality is safe but I wouldn't prefer anyone to roam after 12pm
