- All the faculty were friendly and very much knowledgable. They were helping the poor students to get pass marks . They also supported me in all inter collegiate competitions. Because of that I was able to win many prizes.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculam was as per the University of Madras syllabus. Many students got placed once they complete their graduation. Few students were able to pursue their Professional courses like CA and CMA.
Internships Opportunities
Intenship was not in our course curriculum in our batch . Projects were also not specified in our batch sinc ethe college was under the University of Madras. We were given sufficient tests before we take up our Semester End examinations. Now I am working as Associate Professor in my almamater institution
Placement Experience
There was no plcement opportunities offered for our batch. But once I completed my Post graduation , when I visited my college, Principal Dr.Sumithra gave me an opportunity to work as Assistant Professor in this college.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees per year was Rs.3000. The same was charged for all the studetns. I didnt avail any scholarships incollege. There was xamination fees apart from tution fess which was paid to the University of Madras.
Campus Life
The College has a Digital library which is very spacious and has many books of all disciplines. All social events are celebrated in our college . The college is equipped with very good number of labs .
Admission
This is the only Women's college in my area. My parents wanted me to pursue my Under graduation in Shrimathi Devkunvar Nanalal Bhatt Vaishnav College for Women only. I was planning to join Meenakshi College for women, but due to my parents advice i studied in this college.
Faculty
In our batch there were 120 studetns. In each year we got different faculties who taught us various subjects. I personally feel that Dr.A.C.Ranganayaki who took Business Statistics in second year was my favourite faculty.
Night Life
The college has a very good canteen and a very good library which is open till the evening. Students are able to refere the books, journals and use the coputers for research purposes even after their college hours.
