Student Life at Raghu Engineering College

I was very passionate about electronic devices, so that's why I preferred to take electronics and Communication background. The curriculum was very useful regarding real world applications. The subjects like Digital Electronics, Network Theory, Analog Electronics, Control Systems and Micro processors are very useful for the students who are eager to start their journey in hardware sector. Teaching by the faculty was nice and good regarding labs. The first mid exam was held after two and half months later of starting each semester. The gap between first mid and second mid exam was one to one and half month and one week later lab exams will be done and 10 days later semester exams will be completed.

I did a internship in the robocoupler which was provided by our college and there was no stipend to that internship. The project was real time mini robot which was very helpful to the defence and the medical purposes whenever drastic changes happens in climate like tsunami and earthquake. In those situations it will be very useful.

After completing 6 semester without any backlogs you are eligible for the campus placements. The companies visited our college are Amazon, TCS, infosys, Accenture, moschip and other service based companies. The highest package was by Amazon which was 21LPA. The average package was about 3LPA. The percentage of students getting placed are 77 .I was planning to get a hardware job in vlsi domain. Now I am undergoing training in an institute.

I was studied in Raghu Engineering College with the government scheme provided by Andhra Pradesh government named jagananna Vidya devana scheme. Yearly tution fee for the college was 69700 for our batch and the exam fee, University fee, NAAC fee was 5000. The transportation fees varies regarding locations. The transportation fees for vizag was 33000

The Annual and technical festivals in the college wase very rare and they are about to held thricely in a year. The library was very good and there are lots of books regarding subjects and there was an e-library for the students where u can access lot of content. The classroom are very good with the projector in every classroom. They teach us with the digital by showing them in the projector. College had very big cricket ground and it is also have indoor stadium to play indoor games. Basketball court is very good to play there.

I got admission in this college by qualifying in the exam which was conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh named EAMCET. I got a rank of 23507 in that exam and I applied to the colleges and got selected in the first counseling itself and then I went on to second counseling and I got mechanical engineering in another college so I decided to stay here with ECE background. The admission process was very simple you have to submit the marksheet of the qualified exam and Xerox copies of your aadhar card, 10 class marksheet,inter marksheet.

The faculty in the college was very helpful and good with their behaviour. In every semester there were 5 subjects and in those 3 subjects have labs. Every subject has five chapters. The labs were about 10-12 experiments for every subject. Every week you have labs regarding those lab subjects. Let me tell you about exam pattern there were two mid exams for each subject before semister exams and the lab internal and external will be done before semester exams. one and half month to two months later semesters exam results will be given out by the college management.

The gym was not there in the college. Library was accessible for 6 pm. The hostel doors are not closed upto 10pm, after they they close the doors. The campus timings are about 7 pm. There were no hangout places and the locality was not safe to roam outside whoever stays in hostel.
