Dyal Singh College: south campus

There are a variety of courses available in the college including economics Hons. , Hindi hons , English hons. , urdu hons, bsc life science, bcom ,bcom hons etc. the exams happen two times in a year and the difficulty level is average .

There are alot of internship opportunities available in Delhi University. The placement cell regularly posts about it . The companies that come in the college for internship are learning siant , pregrad , prisco potion, delta x etc. the companies offer a variety of roles which are both paid and unpaid .

Some of the few visiting companies of the college are tata consultancy, pregrad, prisco, DeltaX etc. the placements of the college are below average having the average package of 400000 pa . However there are a lot of internship opportunities for students where they can learn about the industry.

The average college fees for bcom hons. is 40000 rupees . Which includes 13000 in the first year 11000 in the second year 13000 in third year There are scholarship programs available for which you have to fill a form and follow the required steps . If you are from categories your fees might be less by 400or 500 rupees. The college fees is very affordable considering the facilities it provides.

The annual fest of dyal singh college is priyadarshini and it is typically held in the month of March or April. Along with it there are several fests that the society arranges for. The library of this college has a huge variety of books and journals available. You can easily get all the course related books here . There are a huge no. of societies in our college which students can join to get exposure as societies also perform in other colleges

I had applied for a lot of North and South campus college. From which I got admission in shaheed bhagat singh evening College.i didn't take admission because of the timings.i chose this College as one of my senior recommended it to me.For admission you have to cuet exams.The various colleges in du release their own cutoff marks and if your marks are above that you can get admission.teh cutoff marks for bcom hons. Are somewhere around 680 marks

The faculty of the college is average. Teachers are knowledgeable and supportive and they are ready to help incase you need it . There are two semesters exams that happen in a year and the difficulty level is average.they are not too easy nor difficult.one can score good marks if they study for 4-5 days .

The inside college handout spots are the canteen , red benches , Butterfly garden , lover's point etc . Outside hangout spots are lodhi garden, sundar nursery, hamayun tomb etc. these places are nearby at walking distance and one can go there with their friends to chill .the campus are usually from 7-8 in the morning to 6-7 in the evening
