Course Curriculum Overview

5

The BBA LLB programme is a five year integrated course. Our college is affiliated with the curriculum of SPPU and follows the CBCS (choice based credit system) for evaluation. The curriculum exclusively is designed to provide us both with the knowledge of law and business administration as well, The first two years are dedicated to BBA but not limited to that as you also get early exposure to some relevant aspects of law, The later three years of five year programme is completely dedicated to LLB and the curriculum for last three years is exactly same as the curriculum for 3- year LLB, Which provides very specific dedicated insight on the subjects

Internships Opportunities

5

Many seniors from our college itself or the visiting faculties do provide us with internship opportunities in the firms of NGOs they start, This helps us to get an early advantage and exposure to learn skills of the field, We have district court very close to our college which gives us advantage to physically go there and get practical insights

Placement Experience

3

As per the seniors the placements are not that great but decent, Around 30-40% of the students get placed, The average package is around 8 LPA, There are opportunities in law firms and as to become a corporate lawyer, I desire to work in a law firm and proceed to become a litigation lawyer

Fees and Financial Aid

We are the first batch of this BBALLB programme in ILS law college and right now we're in second year, The fees has been 25000 p.a. but it might get increased in later years, For BBALLB programme the scholarship is not applicable as it's un-aided

Campus Life

4

The college environment is extremely exciting and friendly, Three are so many committees which you can join which match your interest, There are also many guest lectures and workshops happening, Located at the heart of the city it gives you good socialising opportunities with nearby colleges as well and continuously going for inter college competitions, We have fests such as Aahwaan and Legalease yearly which are 4-5 day long fests

Admission

ILS has it's own legacy of 101 years and still counting, The strong alumni base, The former and so many future cheif justices, ILS is rated NAAC A+ and has AIR 9 in top government law colleges, It's a blessing and a previledge to get admission here, The eligibility criteria is 12th pass with minimum 40% and getting a rank in mh cet as per the cut off of that year. ILS was my dream college from day 1, I took admission in BVP New law college as well but dropped out of it in three weeks after getting call from ILS

Faculty

5

Faculties are extremely knowledgeable experienced and helpful they're easily reachable and not only guide us in academics but also very supportive in other aspects as well. They themselves are seniors of this field and hence easily provide us with blooming opportunities and networking in the fields of our interest

Night Life

2

Our campus is quite huge, There's canteen there's gymnasium, We have three floored library and 2 girl's hostel and 3 boys hostel, We have a way to go to trek from inside our college campus itself which is fun and adventurous, Hostel has end time restrictions however till 9 pm at night

Placement Experience:

From 4th Year of the college the student is eligible for a pre-placement offer, main placements happen in the Final year i,e. 5th year. Companies that hire majorly are Tier-1 and Tier-2 law firms, like AZB, Khaitan&Co. Average package goes to about 15-16LPA. My plan is not fixed yet, but I aim to pursue SEBI or RBI law officer exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam of Shree L. R. Tiwari College of law covers a wide range of legal subjects. The focus on pratical aspects such as moot court sessions, legal drafting and internships influenced my decisions to choose this course. Exams are typically held at the end of each semester. Interacting teaching methods, guest lecture by legal practitioners, and workshops enhances the learning experience.

Placement Experience:

The college is known for campus placements in every sector especially corporate and practices at the Hon'ble High Courts and the apex Supreme Court of India. Many also opt for going into the judiciary and become High Courts and Supreme Judges. Many legal luminaries and stalwarts including former Chief Justice of India Y.V. Remarks:

It's actually pretty good for the student those who are capable to pay the fees 4yimes higher than the other colleges for the same course but there are much leniency for the attendance for those who are working class and can't attend all the lectures.

Admission:

I took admission in 2015, initially it was based on merit list (from last year MH CET is mandatory) There were 2 rounds, I was not in the lists as I didn't fulfilled the criteria of required marks. But few students left that college and due to that vacancy they admitted me. At that time allocation of seats were based on caste.
