Hostel infrastructure is too good better than some well reputed college
Lush green campus,with nice flora,and nature

Dislikes

Mess food is the worst thing,even worse than coaching food
The city is very far away(16km) so we have to travel much more

Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum hectic but it doesn't feel so after some time it feels like not doing anything.this is what college life is classes start from 9 and end at5 with a lunch break of 1 hour it includes labs too some day donot have labs

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 560000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of the college are average I mean if you are in core branches then ..... But circuital branches specially computer science and engineering have fabulous placements in our college almost 80 percentage students got oncampus placements

Fees and Financial Aid

For people having annual income less than 1 lakh donot have to pay any fees for 1-5 lakh it will be 1/3 which is around 36000 tuition fees and rest have to pay full fees which is 80000 semester wise.hostel and mess fees will be same for all which is around 37000(hostel+mess)

Campus Life

There are not very much tech fests , Library is good almost all books related to curriculum are available and others are too there classroom are disappointing but the upcoming batch will have new class room I guess, sports facilities are goodtgere are many clubs

Hostel Facilities

There is bed a cupboard a chair and study table,meal quality is like typical mess food menu is different every day registration process is simple just carry all required documents and one should have to pay hostel and mess fees on the spot, locality is very bad

Hostel Fee: INR 13000 per year

Admission

The truth is this was the only decent college I was getting others were out of my reach I was preparing for advanced so my mains didn't went well I got 118 marks in advanced but didn't got any college (general category) the admission process in the college is very relaxed just carry all documents which will be mentioned in provisional seat allotment

Faculty

I don't know the exact faculty to student ratio but there are adequate teachers teachers are very helpful in nature some teachers are not well behaved but most of teachers are good and understanding .

Interview Experience

No there was no such thing. there were no interview for the college admission this a very good college I like it very much egeyi one is kehy jensjs jsnsj jnno nhi shsn uskslj sjhs urkl islso uenn hee j

Night Life

Gym timing is 5-8 for boys and 5-7 for girls in morning as well as evening, cafeteria is so so worse for vegetariansfor boys there are no hostel timing generally (sometimes during warden visit it is upto 10 pm) for girls it is 7 pm now

If i say it clearly. You can apply for internships even after 1st year or semester but what really matters is time if you are dedicated for that the please do it But ideally you are applicable for on campus internships from 3rd year. After my bTech degree i am planning to pursue MTech in EE

Best technical institute in Tripura

Placement Experience:

Every year placements happen and about 80 percent of the total students of the institute get placed in various dream tier and other companies with good packages. The packages depend on year to year, more specifically on hiring trends. I still did not make a decision for my post degree plans.

Eyeopener

Placement Experience:

From third year students are eligible for campus placement and internships. Many companies visit like Microsoft , CISCO , L&T , Mahindra etc . Highest package offered was 52lpa in tech and 20lpa in core and average package is 9lpa. Around 75% student get placed . My plan is to do M.tech by qualifying GATE exam .

Life in Nit Agartala

Placement Experience:

Placements are good enough if you if your skills are much better than others if your CG is at least above them 8.5 then you will definitely get a good package so many companies comes to our college including Microsoft Google Amazon etc.. highest package of last year is 68 lpa

NIT Agartala is one of the most prettiest colleges in India!!

Placement Experience:

From Gaya Steel, to JK Tyres and companies involved in production were the ones who gave us placements. On and average production engineers at our college were paid around 4-5 lakhs a year. The lowest of all but still in top corporate houses as no start-ups are into production. This established names where the one who gave us placements.

JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

Placement Experience:

The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad. In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus. Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs. The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa. Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams. I will take job and start my corporate journey.

Life at NIT Agartala: A Perfect Blend Of Academics, Opportunitites, and Campus Vibes

Placement Experience:

Placments at NIT Agartala are strong, with students becoming eligible for campus recruitment from 7th semester. Top compines include Google,TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, L&T, Nvidia,Samsung,BEL and public sector units(PSUs). The highest package goes upto 50 LPA in software roles, while the average package ranges from 8-12 LPA for core and tech roles. Around 80-85% students secure placements, with higher percentage in CSE,ECE and core branches. After completing my B.Tech in ECE, I plan to explore opportunities in core electronics, Embedded systems, or software development, leveraging my academic background annd internship experiences.

My views on NIT-A

Placement Experience:

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

It is long journey of hard work how i get in this college and course . First I qualified JEE main but not got good rank so I got Biotech branch in NIT Agartala according to my rank . But I studied well in first year and scored a high CGPA and slided my branch to Mechanical . I have in all top NITs but not got a ceat there . Admission is only through JEE main rank . JOURNEY TO NIT AGARTALA

When I was applying to collleges, I appeared for JEE Mains and applied to other NITS and IIITS , My aim wwas to secure admission in reputed national institutes with good placements. I got admission in NIT Agartala(ECE Branch),which i chose over other colleges because of NIT brand value, national-level peer group, alumini network. I couldn't make it to the top tier NITS and IIITS as my JEE rank was slightly higher than their cutoff range. The competition is extremely tough and even a few marks can make huge difference in rank. The admission process is conducted through JoSAA/CSAB councelling based on score, For btech admission,JEE main is the accepted and most prefrred exam. The basic eligibilty is passing 10+2 wiht Physics ,Chemistry and Maths. Cutoff vary depending on category and branch.
