My views on NIT-A

I have got this course during counselling and I wanted to get any circuital branch and I got it . I have a passion for electrical engineering because I think this is something I can find my potential towards.

I don't have much knowledge about intership and all because I'm just in 1st year so I haven't joined any internship programme yet though there are many intership programmes available for 1st year students.

Placements records are pretty good and it's improving with time. The nirf ranking of nit Agartala among the engineering colleges has also reached 82 from 91 so it's a good walk . And there's no unemployment of the student has the potential.

So as I am from a reserved category i.e. SC , I don't have any semester fees for first year because the fees I've paid during josaa and csab counselling was shifted to the semester fees.And we have access to NSP for scholarships so I've applied for Ishan Uday scholarship and there are other scholarships too available for sc students.I exactly don't know what's the exact fees for us (sc students) for the whole course but for open category students I guess it's around 6lakhs .

Campus life has been good. I've made friends , we spent time together, we play games, we have also attended college functions together, we hangout together. So overall college life is going considerable.

We've got new building rooms in 1st year so it's good here and also the facilities are fun as per the life of hostellers. Mess food is also bearable enough so yeah it's overall a nice experience staying in hostel.

Tripura is my home-state so I wanted to study in a college in tripura and NIT Agartala is the only college I've wanted. Because living far from home is kinda tough for me due to many reasons so yeah .

Faculties of different branches are of different personalities. So it's sometimes easy to approach a faculty member as well as sometimes tough enough. There are two exams for each semester - mid term and end term .

There's no night life in our college to be honest for girls because the hostel in time for us is 7:30pm in summer and 7 pm in winter and our classes end at 5:00pm so we don't get time to roam around much .
