College at the heart of kuttanad

The commencement of classes and the overall academic calendar was impressive. Computerised works are being developed day by day. This made me choose tgis course. Teacher's could have start teaching from the base itself so that students who are not having an IT background could also shine in the field

Placements are pretty good. Well reputed companies are offering Placement options. Cusat is providing a personal email to it's students and this even help us while applying for jobs and Placements. After covid pandamic placements become comparatively lower than before.

This is a two year course. Total 4 semesters will be there.Regular mca and cost sharing mca is being provided by the university. For regular mca fee structure is 20000 per semester(30000 a year) and for cost sharing mca it is 40000 (80000 a year). Both regular and cost sharing students will be in the same classroom itself. The only difference between both of them is just the change in fee structure. We shall apply for various national level scholarships according to our mark. Pretty good amount can be received as scholarship then.

Classroom is air-conditioned with chairs for individuals. A library card will be provided for each student and accessing library is so convenient as it is just near our classroom. Onam , Christmas, halloween etc.. are celebrated in the college.

I've rented a room. 4 of us are staying in a house. Homely food is being provided by the house owner itself. Accommodation and food together cost around 5000 in a month. Pg is so near to the campus, so going to college is so comfortable.

The university is very much reputed when compared to other universities. It was my great wish from childhood onwards to study under Cochin University. The conducts an examination named CUSAT CAT (COMMON ADMISSION TEST) every year. Students can attend the computer-based test and ranklist will be published in the university website afterwards. Students with top ranks will be allotted. The overall admission procedure through 3 allotments and followed by spot allotment for which the student should be present at the university in the exact date and time informed by the officials. If any of the vacant seat is there and if we meet the eligibility criteria then the seat could be occupied immediately.

Faculty over there is nice. There are always available to clear doubts and even for better moral support. Ashalatha mam is our HoD as well as the principal of the college. Exams schedule is so good there. Two internal exams will be conducted first followed by semester exams. Exams are of moderate difficult level still easy to access if one have enough idea about the subject. Failure rate is very less there.

We make use of the gym efficiently. Both boys and girls can make use of it. Canteen facility is there. Lunch is very affordable and tasty too. College is opened till night. We are allowed to play badminton in the badminton court, play football, volleyball cricket etc... The locality is much safe to roam at night. Neighboring people are all good. Shopkeepers also have better connection with the students.
