Course Curriculum Overview

4

I got this course on the basis of my JEE scores, and my elder as done his masters and bachelor's in ECE that too influenced me to chose this course. The curriculum keeps us updated with new developments in our fields through organizing various seminars and webinars. As i mentioned earlier the 2 mid-sem exams of 20 marks each are conducted in semester with moderate difficulty levels.

Placement Experience

4

From 6th semester onwards the students get eligible for campus placements. There are plenty of companies which have visited to name few Tata, Adani, Deutsche Bank, Infosys, Cognizant etc. The average package goes around ?4-5 lakhs and the highest package as went as high as ?42 lakhs offered by Cognizant. Almost every students gets placed during placement drive.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year- wise fees are ?140000 in which all the other fees like Tution fees, registration fee, admission fee, lab fees, Transportation fees all are included in it. and this fee structure do get increases for every fresh new year for new student's. There are many state run quota which can be availed by only by the domiciles of this state. I don't have much idea about there fee structure but there fee structure are much lower than ours. There are many scholarship programs run by the state for lower section society. For SC/STs and for some EWS categories too.

Campus Life

4

SHRISTI annual and Techno Cultural fest are held in the month of March and November respectively. There is a wide range of books and journals available in the library from every departments to every sector. Every classrom is equipped with start learning class boards. There are plenty of social groups and clubs run by the students itself under the sheer guidance of Faculties.

Hostel Facilities

4

LNCT have 2 Boys hostels namely Shreekunj & Ratanpur and 2 Girls Hostels namely Tripuri and Mahishmati. All are equipped with basic facilities and amenities. The quality of meal is much better compared available in the market and menu carry wide range of varieties. For boys hostel facility is available for only first year where as girls can have for 4yrs.

Admission

I applied for Oriental and TIT other than LNCT and LNCT was my first preference. The reson behind this was the Placements, the Placements cell is quite active here and you get a decent average package to with ?4-5 lakhs of average package. The admission process is applying through MPdte online where your JEE scores will be required.

Faculty

3

The faculty to student ratio is not that good, on an average it is 1:70. but the faculties are easy to approach you can approach them even through calls. The faculties are bit of mixed some are highly talented and some even lacks the basic skills. But majorly there are talented faculties. 2 mid-semester exams of 20 marks each are being conducted before the end-semester exams. The mid-semester are not that tough but levels do get increase in the end-semesters.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.
