The first positive thing is the college gave a important outlook to Sports.There is a physical education department and a vast ground.Games such as Football,volleyball,softball,athletics,tug of war,badminton,archery etc available for both girl & boy
Another positive is Availability of National cadet corps (NCC) There is two battalion 1K and 3K . 1k is only for girls and 3 k for boys and girls.
Next is National service scheme (NSS) .It also active in our college

Dislikes

Infrastructure is too bad.the college class rooms are not clean regularly.

I choose Bsc psychology for my career.Behind this selection of college i prioritize because of colleges teaching method.They provide a understandable class.But some teachers didnt bother the students but some are good

I am the first year student so initially i provide 1000 for university purpose and 8000 for PTA .There is no tution fee or lab fee.I belong to the reservation category OBH so i get scholarship.Then we can also apply for centralized scholarships.

Campus Life

Overall i looking to the infrasturucture i feel so bad about the college building because it is not clean enough they didnt clean the class rooms regularly at the same time Sports have a fitness centre also

My home is distant from the college so i choose hostel .The hostel fee is 5300.some times i dislike food but sometimes it is better.and there is no charging port in room.they didnt allow to use electronic appliances such as iron box etc

Admission

I have 98% mark so i know i get where ever i want.I choose this college over other else because of the importance they gave to study and also same time they prioritize the enjoyment of students also..

Faculty

Teachers are so supportive .They didn't judge the students friendship with bad eye.They teach very well.I like sports,Ncc,NSS in the college.Teachers are friendly to students.There so many oppirtunities

Chemistry is one of the main subject in whole science and it contains practical along with theory.I preffered this subject because I don't really into bookish learning.It offers skilled learning also.Exam timing was relevant for a paper 2.30 hours and 60 marks for main subject and 80 mark for language.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology is a booming industry in the world. I had selected this course hoping to achieve a successful career here in India. Little did I know that biotechnology had not picked up its pace yet in India. The exams conducted was frequently with 1 or 2 model exams in each semester for theoretical and practical. This helped us to have enough basic knowledge when we finally pass out. It would be better if more internships and industrial visits are included in the syllabus. It would give a better idea about our future. It will also help us to boost our resume. The jobs in biotechnology offers low salary here but large varities of experience can be gained. This helps us to have a better career outside of India.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose geography for my graduation because of it was a rare course and only provided by three govt college in Calicut University. It is a good course and it's sub disciplines are very nice to connect with others. Frequency of exams are based on the time duration of finishing the semesters. Usually it's two sem exams in a year and with some other reasons it may get delayed. In course of three years all 6 semesters and it's exams along with project and practical will be finished. Field trip is the main attraction of the course.

I have applied in many other colleges such as University College, MG College, Arts College, Mar Ivanios College,National College etc. I did not intentionally chose this college. I got this in management quota. I did get a rejection from all the other colleges due to low academic performance. The admission of this college takes places under the guidelines and laws published by the University of Kerala. There are management quota, merit quota, community quota. If we are taking admission in merit quota, only marks is checked, we need to have high marks. Community and management quotas should pay the prescribes fees. We have to submit a copy of 10 and 12 mark certificate. Proper admission helpdesks are provided in the college which makes the admission procedure very easy. Students of merit quota need not have to pay any additional fees to the management but students of community quota and management quota should pay fees to the ma. The eligibility for the course BA political science in my college is based on the percentage of the 12th board exam. I submitted my application online, application fee is around 500.
