Course Curriculum Overview

There is not much time between semester to complete the syllabus. So its very difficult revise the syllabus before exams. 2 hrs to 3 hrs is given for exams according to the total questions. But that timing is not sufficient for accounting and maths exams as they are very difficult to finish.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 6000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In 2019, the fees for 3 yr is 6000 only. The semester exam fees are not payable since there is a scolarship for me called egrantz. No other extra charges are paid. There are many other scholarship provided for different categories of students.

Campus Life

There are many club activities, inagurations are conducted every year. Annaul day functions, dept wise special days are also celebrated. Freshers day and fare well day is also conducted on dept wise. Anti ragging cell is also functioning there. In library there are vast collection of journels, old model question papers, newspaper, reference books available and accessable for students as well as faculties.

Admission

I applied many colleges online in Tvm. But I got admission in this college in trial allotment through merit. I never got any rejection. First we have to apply online through university portal. Then we get alloted in colleges according to our marks. In 2019 cutoff for Bcom in SN College is 91.2. The overall experience was good.

For each dept, there is a hod, and 4-5 asst.proffesors. Faculties are very friendly to students. Exams are conducted in semester basis. There are 6 semester exams for 3 yr degree courses.Exam are not that much easy and not difficult.

Best Decision of My Life

Placement Experience:

i am currently on 2nd semester. In my knowledge the campus placements happens during the 5th or 6th semester. There are many companies visited and many no. of offers from different companies. Companies such as HDFC bank, VI, Airtel, Apollo, Colgate, DHL, etc. According to the report, 99 UG and 277 PG students were placed during RCSS placements 2023. The median package offered to the UG students was INR 6,05,000 per annum. According to the reports, 27% students in UG courses secured placements as on June 30, 2024. After getting the degree, I plan to pursue higher education by doing MBA in a renowned good college and along withh that focus on being an ACCA affiliate.

A College that you can consider for building your career

Placement Experience:

Around 70% of students in our college are getting placed in different companies each year. Placements start at the beginning of final semester. Before appearing for placements college give training to clear aptitude tests and interview. Some of the companies that hire from the college are Tcs, Wipro, Federal bank, deloitte, KPMG, EY. EY made 35 offers last year. TCS made around 50 offers last year. Deloitte made 38 offers last year. The highest package offered is 4lpa and average package offered is 3lpa. Profiles offered are Analyst, Tax analyst, financial analyst, customer service associate, audit associate. Every company has 2 or 3 rounds and students have to clear these three rounds to get placed. Minimum eligibility to appear for placements is 60% in each semester. My plans after getting the degree is to find a job or go abroad to do my masters degree. Our college has also strong alumni which makes us easier to get placed in different companies. Placement cell is there in my college

Nice college.high education preference.

Admission:

Good institution. as I got admission on a merit basis. More than that the management facilities are also available. The admission application date is all for about two months. An interview for students is available before they are entering the campus. Overall it's a good college.

Remarks:

Because kerala university is the number one university in kerala, and iam choose bcom tax for my carrier option, kerala university provide only 4 govt or aided college for this course. My college is Accredited A grade by UGC.

Remarks:

I have applied in many other colleges such as University College, MG College, Arts College, Mar Ivanios College,National College etc. I did not intentionally chose this college. I got this in management quota. I did get a rejection from all the other colleges due to low academic performance. The admission of this college takes places under the guidelines and laws published by the University of Kerala. There are management quota, merit quota, community quota. If we are taking admission in merit quota, only marks is checked, we need to have high marks. Community and management quotas should pay the prescribes fees. We have to submit a copy of 10 and 12 mark certificate. Proper admission helpdesks are provided in the college which makes the admission procedure very easy. Students of merit quota need not have to pay any additional fees to the management but students of community quota and management quota should pay fees to the ma. About my college life

The eligibility for the course BA political science in my college is based on the percentage of the 12th board exam. I submitted my application online, application fee is around 500.
