Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I choosed to pursue this course because i wanted to become a civil servant. The political science department helps me a lot in my journey of upsc. I advise you to choose political science department for the preparation of upsc. The frequency and timing of exam is good after 3 months there is an exam

Internships Opportunities

4.5

In my college there is a society for placements of students name of the society is saksham . In this you can get internship and placement in reputed companies like byju's, boat etc. This can give you upto 8 thousand for internship. And at university level there is a delhi university vice chancellor internship scheme which give internship to students. In this a student can earn 24000 in 3 months and also get a certificate which can help the student further

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure of my college varies every year. There is not a constant fees . The fees of students is different in every department and yearly changes. I m in political science department in 3rd year abd i paid 15485 rupees for this academic year. And in my second year i paid 14000 something.. The fees has to be submitted on yearly basis and not on semester basis. Delhi university also provide scholarships . The fees structure of physically weaked section is very low. So overall in terms of fees my college that is satyawati college it is affordable.

Campus Life

3.5

In my college fresher party is organised by every department and there are many societies fest there is no annual fest in satyawati college The books are easily available in library you can issue books after you get your library card The infrastructure of my college is not up to the mark There are many sports facilities in satyawati college Like cricket volleyball etc. There are many societies like nss ncc in which you can take part and improve your social skills

Admission

So to be honest i got this college by mistake in my preference list . This is an off campus college and there are many more colleges which are better then my college. I applied for north campus colleges but i got less marks so i got admission in this college. The admission process of taking admission in my university is by the exam of cuet ( central university entrance test). If you want to get admission in a good college you have to score atleast 700 marks out of 800.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty to student ration is good . If there are 100 students in a course then it is divided into 2 sections.. so there is one teacher for almost 50 students. The relationship between the students and the teachers is good .. They help us in different ways I like the political science department and also the commerce department There is one exam every semester and they are easy to get passing marks .. The more you write in exam the more number you get

Placement Experience:

placement and internship fares are regularly conducted on campus where various companies which are mostly start-ups visit to recruit students for internships and entry level roles. Students become eligible for internships from the first year itself. placement opportunities are generally available after the completion of the full degree and only final year. Students are eligible to apply for full-time rules. last during our last internship and placement fair over 20 companies visited and recruited almost 150 candidates. There are no separate records distinguishing internship from placement. The highest package reported for economics honours is around 12 lakhs per annum and the average package is approximately five lakhs per annum. As per my future plans,I intend to pursue a masters degree after completing my undergraduate course.

For USME, FMCG and Financial companies are the ones which are put in place. The only reason is that those are the companies where we can add value and placements of both courses of USME happens together and combined if I say around 75% students are placed. My plan though is to join GIPE after my graduation ends this year.

DTU because East campus is more known for USME placements revolve around us. Now core companies of our sectors are the ones that deals with finance, insurance or stocks. So nearly 20-30 companies of that space or sector hires over 100 students of BAE every year.
