Merit List

Course Curriculum Overview

3

To be very frank , the theoretical subjects content is very stretched , which is not necessary , any course should be designed such that it provides valuable additions to one's technical and oral communication skills so that there's a sense of relief , satisfaction and confidence that candidate has pursued a respectable course, which seems to be a far cry at this point of time.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, my college has an active placement cell that not only takes care of the placement but also provides internship opportunities and I get many emails for the same. The overall experience of the internship is nice and most students do it just for gaining experience, having a certificate for the same and sometimes LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION.

Placement Experience

4.5

As I already told that my college has an active placement cell which is very excellent and it brings many reputed companies for placement purposes like EY, GENPACT, etc and offers various career counseling sessions for decision making.

College Events

3

Our college celebrates and organizes many events in the month of February and Indian cultural festivals are rarely celebrated here, the already successful annual events are celebrated every year which offers many activities for students and many celebrities also are invited for shows or concerts, etc.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of all over the Delhi University is quite feasible as I think it ranges between 5000-20000 for a particular academic year which is affordable in my opinion and also there are discounted DTC passes for college students.

Fees and Financial Aid

I do know such a facility provided to those who can't afford it as it provides either free or discounted accommodation in hostel and reduction in fees and it gets approved with the proper filing of required documents.

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities like seminars, games, sports, fests, public speaking, debates, everything is nicely organized in our college and in a proper manner but our commerce lab is not up to mark as most of the systems don't work properly , and there's no permission to get print outdone from the college printer nor do they have such a place for the same .

Hostel Facilities

2.5

I would rate hostel infrastructure and facilities 2/5 because it's been there just for formality as there's no common room for boys (there's a common room for girls but not well maintained) and it's very disappointing.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are very polite and interactive and yes they are really helpful in every way. One can chat with them about their career and they can guide through what you should do and what not, and interesting things like where to hang out ????.

Exam Structure

The exam structure is quite organized in such a form that mostly for each subject of 100 marks, we have 25 marks as internal assessment and 75 marks as external assessment (the theory writing paper). Furthermore, the 25 internal marks can be segregated into 10, 10 and 5 marks for the class test, presentation, and attendance respectively.

Admission

It was a highly systematic and centralized process, first you have to check your eligibility in the CUT OFF LIST and match your percentage, then visit the particular college whose cutoff percentage meets your academic percentage, and then fill up the physical form and get your seat reserved, payment to be done in the evening.

Faculty

4

Faculty is very decent and highly cooperative except a few, as in my opinion, I think they got appointed by luck/reservation/approach and they don't have command over there subject, but it's not in case of my college but my many friends from other colleges vouch for the same opinion.

The highest package of my college is 36 lakh per annum from bcom H programme. The placement is very nice from my collegem the average package is 6.7 lakh per annum and the median package is around 8 lakh per annum which is very good in my views. But if the students is not focusing in his academic then no college can give him placement, it's just a exception. The students become elegible for placements after 2nd year and before 3rd year basically they just got PPO that is preplacement offer. Bain & co. , de shaw , Accenture , oyo, Swiggy. I have a plan of Doing MBA after doing Bcom H form hansraj college
