Likes

I like that there are many faculties, and there are many clubs in our college which is diverse
I like that the library is lees crowded and accesible
I like that the faculty are friendly and available

Dislikes

Some shit faculty and ego issues of them will result in bad grades for students
You're not allowed to socialize with seniors
Youre not allowed to join clubs and participate in events

Course Curriculum Overview

Our curriculum is well rounded including all the new technologies and i think they makes us want to learn new things but im.afrsid i dont think the faculties are experienced enough to teach us them, i feel a yt videos can teach us better

Placements ah! When i joined most of my seniors had atleast 2 jobs and that made me join tbiz college but now last batch barely has jobs and most of them settled for less than 5 LPA and well below average

Fees and Financial Aid

I paid around 1.3 L per anum My friend has a below 10k rank tseamcet so his fees is 93k and one of my other friend is sc and has below 10k rank he pays around 4k per anum We all pay around 5k as our library fee, 2k as jntu affiliation fees, for exams we pay 1200 as regular fees and for supplementary we pay 450 per subject.

Campus Life

Campus life? ???? we have seperate canteens for girls and boys we are not allowed to sit w each other even in libraries and security has more powers than faculty members bro if anyones tryna do good in extra curriculars then theu wont get attendance

Hostel Facilities

College doesn't provide hostel but there are good options near by bur i domt think its too bad theyre managable and i think.fpr a student they have abundent features and studnets should be grateful, but food can be better

Admission

I chose this college beacuse it was nearest to my college and i got accepted in manu other colleges and i heard there were very good placements in my college aroumd 2021 but it ended really bad for me

Faculty

There are around 1 teacher per 25 members and theyre okay ig, some of the best faculties teach cs subject's and some under qualified faculties are assigned and sabotage students lifes. Exams are easy to.medium but the teaching is a bit laggy i feel.

Thinking Beyond Academics and Placements , life at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement here are going on pretty well considering the recession that hit the market in recent years,student become eligible for placements from the first sem of their final year , typically 7th semester for single degree students (BE) and 9th semester for dual degree students (Msc+BE),as per the recent cycle around 310+ companies including Google, MIcrosoft,Goldman sachs etc. had visited campus with offer majorly ranging from 18 to 27 lpa , the highest package last cycle (domestic) was for 65lpa and average aroun 21 lpa. The perecentage of students getting placed is above 80% and remaining usually go on for pursuing masters or already have a PPO from the Practice School Internship.I personally will be sitting for placements in my last year and will be hoping to land a good offer.

Placement Experience:

Internships starts from spring break of 4th sem and placements start from spring break of 6th sem ( if you don't get a PPO ) Many big companies like Microsoft , Oracle , DeShaw and Qualcom visit the college. More than 80% of student that are eligible for placements get placed while the others get off campus placements or opt for higher studies. My plans after getting th degree depends on the CTC of package I get offered. If it is not upto my expectation I will pursue higher education abroad.
