Course Curriculum Overview
IT Engineering means well rounded engineering as a bit of everything comes under it. Yes not exactly totally specified ut for that one can do master in subject of their choice. If 1 hour of each lecture can be cut shot to 45 minutes it will benefit immensely.
Internships Opportunities
Amazon and Microsoft came with very least requirement but Indian IT companies and new age companies and start-ups comes in numbers and 3rd year students are hired with a stipend of 15-20k a month and for interns this is a dream come true.
Placement Experience
Amazon, Google, Microsoft and likewise there are nearly 700 IT companies in Hyderabad and most of them are favouring students from GRIET. On and average IT students are placed at 6 lakhs or around while CSE students get 10 lakhs or so on and average.
Fees and Financial Aid
GRIET Hyderabad which is a notable name for engineering is also famous as fees is comparatively quite low. Most engineering colleges charges 4-5 lakhs a year but our college provides quality education at just 1.4 lakhs a year.
Campus Life
Our campus greenery is the first thing that will catch one's eye. Blocks are divided according to course and the main building has the library, and both the canteens of the college are divided according to male and female. We have all three fests in our college like Khelotsav, which marks annual sports competition, then we have technical fest Reudo and our cultural fest Spectra.
Admission
Well for admission in GRIET the college has an own entrance examination. JEE scores are accepted too and those are the ways one get admission here and 80% is state quota. Only 20% outsiders are allowed and it's to promote education for students from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
Faculty
At GRIET there are fair number of courses and for those fair number of courses there are fair number of faculties as well. All are highly skilled and knowledgeable as well. So in all parameters in which we can put faculties we can but we will see them rishing only.
Night Life
Golconda Fort is nearby and also Hussain Sagar Lake. Ramoji Rao film City is not distant either and then malls are in plenty. So, once you have malls means movie hall to food courts you can find everything over there.
