Remarks
My first prefernce like any other du aspirant was srcc but couldnt make it to soaring high cut off apart from that my love for economics made me choose course over college apart from this the location of the college was near to orn just 3 metro stations away
Course Curriculum Overview
The students were not regular in 3rd year as most of them were preparing for government exams,mba which led to classes being cancelled at last moment which led to extreme anxiety amongst students who came to college after commuting for 2 hours
Internships Opportunities
Internship at niti aayog in 3year but for that a decent cgpa is required Social work under nss Government internship Vice chancellor internship during summer and winter break Various internships catering to campus ambassdor,social media marketing
Placement Experience
The 3rd year students are eligibke for internship at niti aayog but for that they need to maintain a decent cgpa Students of all semester are eligible to do vice chancellor internship once in there entire college journey There is a disparity between internship and placement offered to bcom and ba students
Fees and Financial Aid
In first year the fees for ba programme was 18900 and for 2nd and 3rd year the fees was 15400 This fees doesnt include the end term exam fees which is 550 for each semester There are a lot of online courses available during summer break including from iit bombay also There is a 3 storeyed library and good ambience The teachers are very cooperative and there are good college socities The debating society dictum,the ba programme society chanakya,ecell ,photography society,spade nss,ncc Sports society and annual sports meet,annual cultural fest Overall the environment provided by shivaji is enriching and fruitful for all round development
Campus Life
The social life at college was a good experience as shivaji has a lot of societies ranging from literary,debating,cultural photography to dramatic society ,sports society ,ecell ,nss,ncc, sports society There are departmental fest,society fest for the entire year
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is good for certain courses but the sec classes which were conducted had students upto 130 in a single classroom The external exams were conducted in timely manner but the internal examination used to often get cancelled and got rescheduled
