Likes

The campus is enormous and very luxurious
All facilities are provided and everyday expenses are very less
College fest, curriculum and culture is very good

Dislikes

Boys is to girls ratio is very uneven around 12:1
Mess menu doesn't change very much you might get bored of the food.
No air conditioner in the hostel room, it gets very hot

Course Curriculum Overview

Computer science is a pretty tough course that requires consistency and hardwork. You might get placed with the use of the brand name but to get a good package you need skills. The exams are not very difficult and you can get a good cpga if you are consistent

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 4000000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fees for complete course is around 20-24 Lakh. Admission is completely merit base and there is no caste based reservation. Scholarship is given on the basis of The gcpa scored and the annual income of the family

Campus Life

The college life depends on person to person. For me it started pretty slow but you slowly evolve and get engaged into different things like sports , clubs etc. Joining clubs is a great way of socializing.

Admission

Bits pilani is a college you should go for if the fee structure doesn't scare you. You get a pretty nice environment and peer group. You should consider it over the core branches of iits or nits or any other private college.

Faculty

Faculty's are very friendly and responsive. They are highly experienced and know the subject. The grading is pretty lenienct but you have to study. Skipping some classes are fine. Profs are not very strict and you can reach out to them anytime.

Whats my thoughts and experience about my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

If i talk about my specific aspect my brother recomment this college for me and as per of my jee scoure 47374 rank this what i get and i forget to apply for Internal branch change thats why this is how i end up . Curriculum is impressive but it good as in there imagination as its not good in real life. If they apply thing perfectly it really help in personal improvement and overall college performance. They should provide more clubs activity and practical soft skills activity as compare to there tight curriculum of constant memorizing courses I score a really good score not difficult that much and have no complain in frequency and timing but there is a story my IT course they faculty fails to complete my 2 units so in end sem i have to prepare it by my own in 10 days from scratch

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college not good , it have an avegare package of 6 LPA Which is i think ,this is not the actual figure they are hiding from us. But leave it . The highest package was about 19 LPA . Many students got placed and many did not get placed The placement percentage was about 60% might be less than that.

The Placement us not too good but not too bad as it provide average package of Around 700000 INR , Student become eligible in 7th Sem for sitting in placement Cell. They need to score 7+ CGPA for become eligible for placement . The highest package was 39 LPA In The Year 2022. Student got placed percentage was 38%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it 6/10 because first year subjects and all are mostly unnecessary i guess. Its not required that much. There should be more focus on coding and problem solving in college which is often neglected.frequency and timing are fine of exams.

Yes that is true there is placements happened but average and low placement ratio there is because of students skills but for employability you can placed out of campus that is good option . After getting degree did mtech was good or other government like exam there was option and also out of campus placement with enough skill demand is a better option more than college placements

Journey to success with MITS Gwalior

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are moderate as comparatively less companies visits every year. Number of students for placements are more and companies visits are less that cause less placement ratio for on campus. Moreover upto the end of 8th semester almost 80% of students get placed both including on campus and off campus. My plan is to get a job after graduation.
