My Conclusion- College has 90 years old rich Legacy and is one of the best engineering colleges in India. Here Mineral, Fuel, Mining, Geology, and Petroleum Engineering Branches are best in India and have very good Global recognition.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes. Here Course structure is relevant to the current demands of the industry & research works. Now, syllabus & curriculum is changing according to the demand of the industry & more exposure for the students. After declaring as an IIT course structure & other research facilities are also improving.
Placement Experience
Placement scenario is good to excellent. In past placement was excellent for B.Tech students and poor for M.Tech students but now the scenario is changing & M.Tech Students are getting good placements.
College Events
Many big level cultural events are celebrated here. Srijan is such a huge event. big celebrities are also regularly come here to perform. There are several Tech Fests and Science exhibitions throughout the year. From Fashion to Dance Competition, Singing everything happened here.
Fee Structure And Facilities
I don't have any idea about B.Tech. and M.Sc. Tech Fee Structure. In M.Tech There is around 16,000 Rs Fee per Semester. In starting some refundable and some nonrefundable charges also there. In the end, the Fee is around 70,000 INR per annum. hOSTEL

No. I have not taken any loan from banks. I also not have taken any benefit from any scholarship here.
Campus Life
One thing I can say that It is one of the best colleges in India having so much places to enjoy campus life. Here in Campus, there is Cafe Coffee Day, Subways and Center for Food apart from this there is a big Central Canteen, Student Activity Center having Swimming Pool Facility along with other sports facility, Squash Complex. One of the biggest library in India.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel Fee deposited for the First year at the time of the admission. It is around 35,000 per annum for Hostel along with Food. The food is good and available from 12 PM to 2 PM and 8 PM to 10 PM. In Morning there is breakfast from 7 am - 9 am and in the evening again snacks from 5 pm - 7 PM.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes. Whenever I tried to take guidance and advice they revert back and gave invaluable suggestion regarding academics, Networking and Industrial links for Internships.
Admission
I have got the admission through GATE 2015. Here Cutoff is declared M.Tech. Discipline wise and seat granted on the basis of pre opted stream & marks. It releases separate notice regarding admissions in various M.Sc and M.Tech Courses on the basis of GATE
Faculty
There are mainly two types of faculty members. Ones are those who are eminent academic Professors & Industrial experienced eminent ones. On the other hand, there are some less experienced & not better professors are also there. Now Management is transferring the professors who are not from eminent colleges.
