Faculty is very good instead of some teachers
Every lab has filled with all the equipments required
Infrastructure of the college is excellent

Dislikes

Food will not be good especially for telugu guys
There are no ac classes or hostel rooms so that we have to face issues in summer
The wardens are very strict especially for girls

Course Curriculum Overview

This college provides great path for ECE students towards core and software side. There are many research groups to learn and make our own projects in ece. Their teaching methods are very good. The exams are conducted for every one month and difficulty level is standard

Internships Opportunities

There will be 2 types of internships one is normal internship. In this case companies provide internship and hire you as permanent if they like your work. Here you get experienced certificate if you are not hired. 2nd one is paid internships. These internships are provided for whom they pay for it. These internships are only for experienced certificates. I dont recommend 2nd one.

Placement Experience

Placements are really good. Every student is eligible for placements from 3rd year. The companies take some students based on cgpa cut off. Upto 150 companies visit our college. So we have numerous oppurtunities. Max students are placed in TCS. They provide highest packages every year upto 40 lakh. Average package is 5 lakh. 85 to 90 percent students are placed

Fees and Financial Aid

Per sem fee will be 76000 and it increases by 5 percent every year. Hostel fee is based on type of room you want to take ranges between 14000 to 25000 per year. Mess fee will be around 4k every month.

Campus Life

For every year there will be 3 festives in even semister. One is colloseum which is a sports fest where they conduct tournaments among colleges. 2nd is daksh which is a technical fest where you can show your technical skills or learn new topics. 3rd is kuruksastra everyone's favourite. It is a cultural fest. There are huge no.of clubs to join to show your talent

Hostel Facilities

For every person either he/she has single or shared room he/she gets a study table,folding chair,a cupboard and a bed. Meals taste is very poor there will be no spice. Ironic is menu looks tasty. Registration process for hostel will be smooth and accurate. The hostels are affordable for everyone

Hostel Fee: INR 16000 per year

Admission

This college gives better package than the colleges i tried. The fee is very less compared to other colleges. Maximum seats are provided based on merit. Only afew seats are given under management quota.

For first years there will be mixed faculty like professors,scholars etc. so that we have to face issues with some faculty. But when you enter 2nd year core faculty starts to teach you. You can learn more with interest

Life and Difficulties at SRM University from honest POV

Placement Experience:

the placements start from third year. there are multiple oncampus companies that visited like juspay,zs associates, cognizant,accenture,capegemini and etc. the average package is aroung 5,00,000 the percentage of student is around 60-70 around this year but its still going on by this march.

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education. No, i did not get rejected for the colleges i applied for.
