- In nit durgapur is class facilities are best as there is new block constructed for academic.
- Here auditorium is well established and have the space for around 1500 people.
- Some faculties are best and they help the student but some are very worst as every college.
Dislikes
- Hostel building are very old as this is one of the oldest nit.
- Campus are not as big as all the student expect to be.
Course Curriculum Overview
Basically our branch has all the subjects which is required for electrical engineering and also based on gate syllabus.after complition of subject there will be practical of all subject in next sem.exam will be not difficulty if you listen to your professor in class carefully.
Internships Opportunities
There are the opportunity of internship program for third year student in the summer vacation and so many company gives PPO as well such as Microsoft,Wells Fargo and many more.The student who are in clubs will have the many project experience and they will get the internship easily.
Placement Experience
Our college placement is average from the last two year placement is not good due to the recession time but the core company comes even in recession if college does not allow for placement there is opportunity for gate exam and that's all.
Fees and Financial Aid
Per sem-78800 we pay to the academic section and the message fee of 19600 per sem.The student whose family income below 1lakh will have to pay 16300 per sem and the message fee remains the same.The student whose family income is b/w 1 to 5 lakh will pay 37600 per sem and mess fee will be same.For the student from catogery sc/st irrespective of income will pay 16300 and 19600 as mess fee per sem.
Campus Life
My overall experience to this college is good .there are so many clubs in college and it provides good opportunity to build up the personality and work experience.there are several social clubs also which helps the needy people around nit durgapur.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility are not good as thish is old nit but the new hostel has been built but it was given to first year through your b tech you will get 3 seater hostel room that's a bad part of this Registration process is very easy and in starting of sem you will have to pay mess fee and the room will be alloted
Admission
I choose this college above other college due to several reason first of all I need electrical branch that is available in nit durgapur and near to my state and also at the time of admission it's nirf ranking was good that's all reason for choosing this college over othe college And for the admission process that all has been done through josaa and at the time of college reporting we have to submit the physical document.overall process is easy
Faculty
There are basically good as well as worst professor also.some faculties are very helpful. Sor the semester examination it is divided into three parts first parts will be midsem which will be conducted in middle of sem of 25 marks and 15 marks will depends on professor which they will give according to assignment or class performances etc.for the remaining 60 marks end sem will be conducted at last of sem.
